Zeke hasn't looked good or particularly healthy at any point in his career and they still bid against themselves to commit long term to him. That was a plan to create a $8 mil salary to trade (probably in a package with a rookie contract guy), since the Nuggets lacked any middle-ish salaries on the roster. It backfired since Nnaji’s weaknesses got exposed too much. I thought it was a bad idea since I never thought much of him and doubted he’d be a useful NBA player for anyone. I wouldn't have given Zeke a 1 year minimum contract. I was absolutely flabbergasted that they thought for one second anyone would be interested in trading for him.

If we don’t extend AG, our championship window is closed for good, in the Jokic era. Maybe we trade him instead for a guy like…Jerami Grant? 😂 Now why the f**k wouldnt we extend AG? This saving money, being smarter (cheaper) than every other team going too far Oufff i just realized. AG isnt one of Booths guys 🥶 People also better get use to the very real possibility AG declines an extension to make more in free agency. Specifically, it's not a matter of if KSE/Booth offer an extension (the most they can offer is up to 140% of current salary for year one of a deal - ~$32 mil) to AG but rather the likely outcome that AG declines the extension so he can make way more in free agency. Somebody is going to offer a deal that starts at 160%-170%+ of his current salary for year one of the deal next summer ($36-$39 mil). Whether that is Denver remains to be seen.

Always felt Singer was much closer to Nuggets compared to most and now he literally works for the franchise.
