So I've read that Malone's final year is a team option.

While it is early, would anyone keep him for next season based on what we've seen so far?

Depends on who's available. Coach Mel woulda been a better in-game coach than Malone. Of course, almost anybody would.

Chauncey was sitting near me on a plane to LA last night. If I knew you fellas wanted him to coach the Nuggets, I would have asked him if he was interested.

A rant by a Nuggets fan on realgm, does anyone think he's wrong? He basically rips Malone, TC and Kroenke.

I know, I know, patience. Well **** patience, I have been patient for 4 years while they do a whole lot of nothing and hire 2 bad coaches in a row. Sorry but this team has several young guys with all star potential, it's too bad the coach is not interested in playing to the team's strengths and putting guys in positions to succeed, I am getting past the point of being frustrated with this coach and the GM and starting to get pissed off.

You have a coach that does not like playing centers, coaching a team with 2 great prospects at center, instead he chooses to play an undersized PF and a defensive specialist PF at center while screwing with the confidence of those 2 centers.

We have a very good looking young scorer that is a true combo guard, yet he is left standing in the corner getting 3 or 4 touches a game while our 34 year old backup PG spends his time on the court trying to relive his glory days jacking up terrible shot after terrible shot.

**** this coach and **** this front office, these young guys are not trade fodder, they are the potential all stars. The trade fodder are the guys like arthur, Nelson, Barton, and the other veteran rotation guys that are getting in the way of development and **** up the future. For the good of this team Jokic, Nurkic, and Murray should all be getting force fed minutes like Mudiay, not being stuck behind guys like Nelson because Malone trusts the veterans more.

Thank you I guess? Yes they will probably keep Malone. One of the problems with guys like Malone is that he seems like such a likeable guy, and we all know that the Kroenkes only fires coaches when it is past the point of obvious. Hell Dickerson couldn't even get Fisher fired, it took his own running back telling the media that they were running a middle school offense before they would do anything. They do not care about winning, they only care about us fans if we are shelling out to much money to watch a **** coached team of mid level veterans, it is a **** business to them and if we do not support their bull that they will threaten to leave.

Well I am sorry, but while they may have bought it and have made money off this team, it is our team. Those of us who have suffered through Thompson crack head years , the injuries in the 80s screwing up what could have been some amazing teams, the lost decade of the 90s when friends would publicly shame you for being a Nuggets fan, the Melo years including the Melo drama, that Karl dream team, the shawful years, and now this. Even those of us that have only been fans for part of that time, this is our **** team. We were the ones dragging friends and families to games and in front of the TV to watch games even in the crappy pictured channel 2 years, we were the ones buying their gear, and we were the ones dreaming about the days when this team would finally win it all.

For the 1st time in over a decade I see something special in our team's young guys. Murray, Nurkic, and Jokic are special talents, at times Mudiay looks like he can be a special talent, Harris looks to be a very good player as well. Why the **** is Malone insisting on holding these guys back? Why the **** do they want to trade them so badly? Is Malone really as stupid as he appears? I am so tired of hearing about trading for a superstar, it is almost like they are telling us that they want to be a farm team, until some **** pisses off his current team enough that they will trade him and he decides to grace us with his presence in our city and on our team.

You know I started thinking a couple of nights ago when reading and responding to a thread trying to trade Jokic and Murray for Bledsoe and Cousins, and realized if they do something that stupid than I may finally get this team out of my system. Them and the NBA can go **** themselves. Even if they traded those guys or Nurkic and Harris for someone like Butler I was thinking I might be done with them. While this team goes out and gets some big names to draw in a few more ticket buyers and is 1st round fodder for years, those young guys we traded will be tearing up the league and those of us fans that have been here through all the crap over the years will shake our head and talk about what could have been.

Maybe I am wrong about the young guys, and maybe they will all bust (I doubt it but there is a chance), but quit worrying about the quick fix and finish doing it the right way. **** the only thing this front office has shown us they are above average on is drafting, so let's see what those picks can do, and trade the veteran rotation guys somewhere else, we no longer need them. Then fire Malone and hire a coach that understands how to put guys in positions to succeed and grow.

Josh needed to spend some more time around his grand father I guess, say what you will but Sam Walton knew how to build a business and win, Josh just wants to take all the short cuts, when this team has the potential to be the next team like the Warriors if they would **** go with it.

Sorry for the rant, but I am tired of hearing about them trading for a star, when they refuse to develop the ones we have right in front of us. I am tired of watching a coach that is terrible and can't figure out a system that utilizes 2 talents as special as Nurkic and Jokic, and has Murray standing in the corner watching Nelson pound the air out of the ball 20 seconds to jack up a miss on ever possession. I am tired of being told to wait, 40 years is long enough, our front offices used to have some balls and built some winning teams when they did (maybe they did not get to the championships but at least they tried), not this one I guess. Nope we are just going to wait, wait some more, and **** wait some more, while this front office spends all day looking for a potential superstar not realizing many of them are on their own **** roster.

I still say Malone lasts to the end of the 2018 season, but have less conviction that he will. He's lost control and this team seems to have lost motivation.
