probably has anxiety over the earth being flat, or the Illuminati putting chemicals in the water that are making the frogs gay or whatever inane, idiotic conspiracy theory he's watching on tiktok He clearly might not be the brightest bulb, and may hold some odd ideas (though I’ve not seen him suggest the theories you’re sarcastically implying here). But his comfort level as a player might not be helped when fans like you write on social media denigrating things about him. I’m sure MPJ reads and listens to social media and podcasts a lot, and is a sensitive young man. People lose their humanity in the internet, and players like MPJ internalize the criticism, which makes playing basketball not as fun for him anymore as it was when he was a kid learning the game and dominating whoever he faced. That said, I don’t feel sympathy for anyone getting paid $30 million for playing a game.

How is he crying? He is just being reflected. Would you call him a loser to his face?

Erik, do you have to crash out and spam every thread with your stream of consciousnesses ramblings? are you not capable of composing your thoughts in one organized post?
Mike believes the "woke mob" put litter boxes in highschools for trans-species "furries". It's not that he has "some bad ideas" and that makes him "wrong about everything", It's that he's a genuine idiot that does not possess critical thinking and believes every crackpot bullshit he watches on social media, and his idiocy can produce anxiety.
I would not tell him he's a "loser" to his face. I would however, tell him paying a third/fourth option a max contract is nonviable in a second apron universe and Calvin would be wise to trade him for a 2for1.

I want MPJ gone too, mostly because I don't trust in his character or intelligence and I believe he will say or do something eventually that causes long term damage to his/the team's reputation. At a minimum I want him to shut down his podcast. It's only a matter of time before one of the ignorant, bigoted things he says on there gets some real media traction.

Of course there are positives to it, but unfortunately there are a bunch of negatives. People will just say oh don't open Twitter or IG or whatever but no matter what it's impossible to avoid all the bullshit.

If being wrong about some things makes him wrong about everything why the f**k would anyone listen to you lmao. Or me Exactly. Some of us are wrong about few things, some about many things, some about big things, some about small things, but we're all wrong about enough things that if "this guy is wrong about something" became our standard, we'd never be able to listen to anyone again. And, of course, having bad ideas about non-basketball things isn't relevant to how a player's performance on the basketball court can be affected by their contract situation.

with that being said, it's perfectly fine to dismiss an individual who considers being a contrarian as a lifestyle choice and will regurgitate quite literally any conspiracy theory you put in front of him, so long as it runs contrary to the prevailing orthodoxy.
there is no "that's your opinion and I respect it" for an imbecile who claims the liberal establishment are putting litterboxes in highschools to appease the furries. no, Mike is an idiot and should be shamed for being an idiot. otherwise, you risk devolving into an idiocracy.

There are plenty of reasons to dismiss plenty of people as having poor epistemology, which is a discussion that could go in the random thought / idea thread. How that relates to an article about MPJ feeling pressure due to his contract and on-course performance though, IDK.

I'm hoping this is like a joke or something that I'm missing People who want an excuse to take away rights from queer kids are spreading lies that schools are placing litter boxes on campus for kids who "identify" as cats or furries. It's not something that is happening, they just want people to believe it so that they can use it to draw a disingenuous comparison to schools being accomodating to actual queer kids.

Then shame him when he is an idiot. Shame him when he talkes about litterboxes. But you shame him for having a pretty interesting take. And pile on with s**t from the past to defend your hate. Why is it so hard to stay on subject? Because your original point was.. weak

If you can give me one good reason (other than that you find it annoying) as to why i have to or should spend my time editing posts and coverging them into one instead of 3 then ill probably keep it in mind. But it absolutely does not matter. What matters is the words and context of the posts. Textbook toxic behaviour

Might as well bring back Barton if we has interest in Fournier. And where is Kenneth Faried these days? He played in Mexico last year if I’m not mistaken.
