Wow, 100k fine for Murray. Jeezus
No suspension though, so we're getting some breaks from the league here. They probably want us to make this a series.
I think if we can find a way to scrap and fight long enough to make it a 4th quarter game, anything can happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if they let him choose between an outrageous fine or a suspension. he isn't exactly Draymond.

After the season, they’ll ask Jamal why he threw the heat pad, and he’ll admit he didn’t throw it in frustration about the refs or about his play, but rather about how the heat pad wasn’t helping his sore leg loosen up, and how the tightness and pain really did affect his play. I know he doesn’t like using excuses, but he was mad at his heat pad not working, and nothing else, lol.

Winning game 3 (😂) would put so much pressure on Minnesota for game 4

we had nearly a week off to start the series and his calf seemingly got worse. it's over my friend. Oh I know. But what if the curse messed up his paperwork and accidentally typed MIN instead of DEN? And after submitted it, was like “oh s**t” And boss curse was like “too late! Can’t change it now”

we had nearly a week off to start the series and his calf seemingly got worse. it's over my friend. It’s not just the calf, it’s the shin splints, the knees, the ankles. He’s lucky he hasn’t needed anything amputated. Jamal Murray risks graduating to the Professional Gimp Club, where he could share membership with Lonzo Ball and Gary Harris.

Lonzo is medically retired at this point and Gary can't stay healthy when he has a Justin Holiday level usage rate when he's on the court. not exactly comparable situations.

Who says they have to be comparable? They only have to be members of the Professional Gimp Club. Many ways to get in. And Ball will be back next season.

Date is wrong in the title although it may end doing us a favor by missing the game

Nuggets should probably look to re-tool in the offseason. I think Jokic is clearly burnt out because of the load he has had to handle. I love Murray and he's awesome when healthy but he's just not reliable enough. He's always hurt. At some point you owe it to Jokic to get him an All Star teammate. Nuggets are never trading Jamal though. And I can't even say it would be smart to because you can't really predict health. But he always has something wrong with him and I really think it's because he doesn't get himself into good enough shape.

first of all, gimp is offensive to the handicapped since you're so ultra-sensitive to discriminatory slurs
second of all, the Nuggets ask too much of Jamal which is why he's suffering through injuries right now. Gary gets the VIP treatment and will still fall apart physically.

It's interesting that there's not much extension talk with Jamal and AG. I want to keep both resigned for the rest of their careers.
That said - in 2026, Jokic will be 31 and a lot of money comes off the books. So - it's worth considering that Calvin has his eyes on that year, in regard to a major FA-rebuild.

I’m guessing some “star” who a little on the older side that a rebuilding team would swap for mpj? Derozen? Mikal bridges? Lauri markennen? Jimmy butler? Not much out there and I’m pretty sure most teams wouldn’t even make the swap anyways

I would trade the latter three for MPJ any day. Derozan, I'm going to need a radical shake up where AG gets moved for a PF that can shoot to sign on for that.

Choosing to keep aging vets will lead to what GS is going through and I don't think it's the right move. I'm not against loving AG to be honest. Though honestly oolong at our roster I'm worried we don't have a lot of moves we can make.
