very happy to hear Dirk's take on Joker and the Nuggets.
one of the most underrated playoff performers in NBA history. always elevated his game when it mattered, outside of getting blindsided by the We Believe Warriors that one time.

Don't really have a prediction until I see what version of the Nuggets we get. Jokic & Murray at their best? Nuggets can win it in 5. If the Nuggets only play a solid 30 minutes a game, Jokic isn't as aggressive as possible and playoff Murray doesn't show up for entire games than yeah we could be in some trouble.
We'll know pretty quickly if the Nuggets were just coasting vs L.A/certain stretches in the regular season or they just don't have it this year. My guess is they were just coasting and they come alive vs Minny.

Jamal is officially in for tonight. Hopefully the injury report is more gamesmanship than him still truly being that injured. Playing hurt is only going to last for so long, and there are a lot of games between now and another title.

I think the questionable tag was just an acknowledgement that if something feels funny in warmup, they're sitting him. He said himself yesterday he felt better than he did before the last game against the Lakers, so he's improving. We got lucky with his calf strain. Giannis revealed he wasn't even close to returning and Porzingis is "hoping" to be ready for the conference finals. |
