I am overriding Sticky and sticking to what won us the Championship last year, aka me getting Game 1 for every series.
Murray and Jokic vs Lebron and AD. Lakers dying to get revenge on Malone. I'm nervous as f**k. I need Murray to have another huge series. I need Jokic to destroy AD. f**k the Lakers.

ok, we're going too far with the Laker fearmongering/Kings dismissal fellas. the Kings dominated our matchup 3-1 this season including a 29 point beatdown. the only game we managed to beat them, Fox was injured -- we all know how much this team enjoy's defending players with his profile. they're no pushover, and OKC sure as hell isn't going to sweep them. I would argue LA is the more ideal matchup for us.
calm. AARP Bron can talk as much as he wants but father time is undefeated.

Wanted the 2nd seed. Got it. Wanted Lakers in the 1st round. Got it. Want Nuggets in 5. Loading... Everything we could’ve hoped hope for we got. Avoided the Suns in the first round, got HCA against the Wolves in Round 2 and guys are healthy. Two weeks ago people were dooming over the Pelicans, losing HCA to the wolves and potentially getting the Suns in Round 1. These are the playoffs with the defending champs. Nothing will be easy. I don’t like gaming the system for perceived better matchups because any team can get beat |

Dennis Schroeder
As others have also mentioned -
Schroeder actually played really good defense against Murray last year. Murray still got his bag, but Schroeder didn’t make it easy. Murray would have had multiple 50-point outings in the WCF if Schroeder wasn’t on that team.
DLO is a god-awful player. He’s going to get absolutely trounced by our defense. Lebron and AD are both one year older.
Ultimately, the xfactor for why we swept them last year was conditioning. The Lakers could ball just fine with us thru 3.5 quarters - but once the midway point hit during the 4th quarter they were toast (and it’ll be worse for them this year).
We will miss uncle -
But LA will find Braun and Watson’s defense stifling. Reggie will find his way to the basket.
I give this 5 games. The Schroeder absence is going to be the biggest difference. Go Nuggets!!!

I'll believe it when I see it. 5 days of rest will be good for RJ. RJ historically goes into another gear cone playoff time. You’re going to find a focused RJ getting onto the floor. He’s no longer pacing himself for a long season. As long as RJ drives to the hoop for layup, 10 times during every game, we will repeat. Even if he misses, we’re going to capture a decent amount of offensive rebounds and putbacks. But his driving (much like bb last year) is what will sustain our bench offense. |

For me it’s pretty simple. You get playoff Jokic/Murray and you’ll be incredibly difficult to beat in a 7 game series. The opposing team will need alot of things to happen to overcome that.
I’m sure it’s just past trauma but if there’s a team that would be allowed to get away with playing Jokic overly physical and hacking him this would be it. The narrative for LeBron if they beat the Nuggets will be crazy. It would be huge for the league. Makes me think you might actually get a non soft/motivated AD. Lakers are gunna come out swinging and the Nuggets will need to match that.
