Shaq just predicted Lakers win series. The other three took Denver. He also took the Magic and the Heat, until he realized Butler was out and changed his mind. He pretty much just picked the teams he is most associated with.

I typically don't engage in Nick Wrong style histrionics, but G1 will tell us everything we need to know about this series. LeHam has had almost a calendar year to game plan against us, if they have a trick up their sleeve that they neglected to show during the regular season, they're going unveil their genius plan now and try to secure home-court.
because if this movie plays out the same way it has been since late 2022, then it's just a matter of taking care of business and not taking your foot off the pedal.

Agreed, 39 year old LeBron unveiled one of his tricks by excessively praising Jokic the last few days. The rest we will see soon, if any. Game 1 and 2 are must win for Denver

Game 1 and 2 are must win for Denver Disagree. The sky won’t be falling if the Nuggets lose at home. They’ve won plenty of games in LA. And Lebron will tire if he’s going 100% and playing heavy minutes in these games, as he is now incapable of going 100% game after game.

Game 1 and 2 are must win for Denver I usually think game 1/2 are crucial for the Nuggets because of how great they are with HC. Just takes a lot of pressure of the team and prevents the other team from building on it. You don’t get yourself into a bind where you have a must win game 3/4. I actually don’t care as much this series. Nuggets have shown they can outclass this team. They could get out of a tough spot be L.A IMO. If we look good but the Lakers eke out a win I don’t think it’s panic time. The more important thing will be seeing how it plays out. How does AD look? Is playoff Murray ready to rock right away? How physical are they allowed to play Jokic? Like if the Nuggets lose game 1 and the refs get Jokic into foul trouble and he’s getting hacked without any whistle than that’ll be concerning.

Rock and I will be concerned from the opening tip tonight until the confetti flies. Yup. I have very little confidence we can win the series. Best case I think it goes 7. Despite winning the title, the Nuggets history over 30 years has left a deep rooted fear in me. it’s funny, I’d estimate 80-90% of unbiased fans and the media think we will win. Over half of them think we will win the series easily. And yet the fear is still there.

Saying this, I hope, causes a reverse jinx, and Murray stays 100% healthy throughout the playoffs.

Obviously Jamal (or MPJ) is our most likely candidate to go down if someone does, but that doesn't mean the chances of it happening were anywhere close to the chances of it happening to Embiid. Embiid just had surgery, he was already out there in a massive leg brace, and he literally does this every single year. Wouldn't be shocked if Towns goes down soon too. Both Towns and Embiid had the same surgery but Towns came back twice as fast from it.

friendly reminder that a third of the league has never won a championship in its history, and there are teams like the Knicks and #teamblessed, that haven't won in half a century or longer.
calm. nothing is guaranteed. enjoy the moment.
