Our rest doesn’t change regardless of Miami and Boston We need home court. We aren’t beating a hot Boston team in their building But their rest will change which will give us a great advantage in well rested legs against legs with one day off lol They will have 4 days off

If Boston comes back to win four straight and stays home to host us on four days rest to start the Finals, we are in trouble. The Heat is our best bet for an NBA Title.

mileage is mileage fellas.
go find two elite runners that run multiple marathons and ask them if one runner has the advantage if his marathons are shorter and he has over twice the amount of rest lol.

The Heat is our best bet for an NBA Title. Good thing if Boston comes back it'll have to be in 7 games which would only give them 2 days off, then. But even in that case, Boston still has no size and a rookie head coach.

Game 7 is on Monday - two days to rest before Murray and jokic slaughter you on Thursday.
Brutal schedule with minimal prep time.

Matt Moore is now saying the TWolves were our most difficult opponent. I said that before the playoffs even started

TC designed them to beat Denver with the two bigs. He knew who they had to beat to get somewhere. I imagine his whole plan will be designed on building a team that can beat DEN this off-season. His trading ability might not end in that result, but it will be the goal and was the goal of bringing in Gobert with KAT.

I think Tim envisioned Gobert as this defensive savant that can clean up every mistake from the perimeter because he's not a fan of acquiring and having multiple defensive role players like Kentavious, Bruce and Christian in the rotation and much prefers "skilled" perimeter players like Monte Morris, Will Barton and (lol) Facu Campazzo.
and it would've worked, if he acquired Anthony Davis instead.

Gabe Vincent out for the Heat tonight with a sprained ankle. Presumably Lowry starts and his minutes will be dispersed between Lowry, Struss, Martin, and Robinson.

Shams: NBA considering penalizing flops with a tech free throw, may start testing the rule as soon as summer league Embiid, Harden, Lowry, Smart, and LeBron all terrified in game flop penalties wont work, players are too creative and too smart. its so tough to catch in real time. itll also slow the game down they need to start doing them after the game and im ok with some sort of system where a certain number of warnings gets you a fine, then suspension. players will stop flopping quickly. but the nba just isnt committed to enforcing this for some reason.

It works in hockey. Guys still get away with it occasionally but since they made diving a 2 minute penalty it has vastly reduced it.

God, beating a legacy Boston Celtic team with 305 banners hanging in the rafters would be so much sweeter than beating a fluke Heat team that might not even make the playoffs next season.
