I think our pick is lotto protected? I hope

Literally the most disappointing season in nuggets history. Not even hyperbole. Our greatest fears are coming true.

We peaked a couple years ago. Waste a couple more years then rebuild again.

Welcome to the play in games

The season we had the highest expectations in franchise history ends up being the worst. Nugglife is in full force.

You can’t even write this up if you are the biggets nuggets hater in the world. Just impossible

November 17:
Top 5? Dude what are you smoking?

Boston, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Portland. That’s 4. You have us better than all other teams?

Utah? Memphis? Atlanta? Cleveland? New Orleans? Dallas? Clippers? I’m sure I’m missing a couple others

We lose games to lottery teams all day. Lose to teams on 2nd of back to back. 20 point leads? Means nothing. Up 6-8 points late? Give up 12-0 runs

But if we are playing a tough team who is favored or if we are down 6 half way through the 4th?

It’s over. If we are supposed to lose, we lose. We don’t have surprise wins anymore.

This is turning into the most disappointing season I’ve ever endured. The pain and frustration is unmeasurable. I know other fans may not care because “winning a title isn’t everything”

But I’m over solid 45-50 win seasons where we tried hard and ran into a juggernaut. I don’t care anymore. I want a title and I’m f***ing done settling.

And to make it worse it took 20-30 years of failures to get here. And we aren’t even close to sniffing a title. Imagine after the jokic era? Saddening.

And just to rub salt in the wound, who’s the #1 seed? And who is one of their top players? Just a few months after giving away half of their rotation for nothing? They had one of the most unremarkable “rebuilds” the last year while our was heralded as one of the best

Nugglife of course took care of all of that. And team blessed gets what they always get. Just works out for them every single time.

Last year was partially tolerable because of the injuries and we knew we could fall back on “what if Murray and mpj were back?”

We don’t have that anymore. This is our team. We have no cap space, no picks and we are losing brown in 6 months. This is our peak. This is our best shot. This is all we have

And it’s not even close to a title. The idea of winning even a single round against Memphis, Portland, clippers, suns, warriors, New Orleans, Dallas etc is laughable.

Winning 4 rounds? I can’t even fantasize about it in my wildest dreams like I used to when I was younger.

We blow leads every single game

Except for the Indy game we roll over and give up the second we are down.

We play a good team for the first time in weeks and get killed

Our defense is garbage

But hey “8-4 is good!” Right? The record is deceiving. We are playing like a 4-8 team.

We are going to be a playin team very shortly. There are more than 6 really good western teams.

And to make it worse Portland is having their dream season. We were supposed to have the best team in franchise history (not even exaggerating) while Portland was ranked 8-11 by 99% of unbiased fans

And this is what we get? How can anyone possibly doubt the curse. It’s so f***ing real. And I don’t normally believe in any paranormal stuff. But I 100% believe this. There are just too many examples for too long to deny it

A team literally trying to tank this offseason and another who made the most pathetic retooling I’ve ever seen (even their fans were disgusted)

And both end up the best in the west. In a year when the west is insanely competitive.

This isn’t even real anymore. The nba is a simulation.

This jazz team is incredible. They are going to win the divison at this rate.

We probably finish 3rd or 4th in the NW

October 22:
2022 nuggets set a new record for how quickly a season can fall apart

Literally the most hype and expectations we’ve had in franchise history and it was over in one half…against a team literally trying to lose

I know it’s preseason without jokic but I’m going to have to change my expectations this season. Top 6 in the tough west is looking unlikely

I would bet on our seed being lower than 6.

You forget: clippers are way improved. Teams like Minnesota and New Orleans were much stronger the second half of the season
Memphis, golden state and suns are locks for top 6

Lakers could bounce back. Portland , Utah and Dallas will be solid at worst.

I honestly would swap rosters with Okc, houston or New Orleans in a second. Those teams have direction and plans. Yes there’s a good shot they don’t even make the WCF in the next 5 years but at least they are trying.

None of these moves make any sense. He has no plan. He’s just randomly smashing button on 2k. The roster is more of a mess than last year’s disaster.

He’s single handedly made the current team worse and sacrificed our future.

And while some western teams have stayed the same or gotten worse most have improved. Even the “bad” teams like the kings, rockets and Okc will be tougher.

We have the freaking b2b mvp and this is their “plan”? Barely make the playin game?

Who has our pick next summer? What are the protections?

No team can compete with the warriors spending. But geez, how about competing with Portland, New Orleans, Minnesota etc
