I was a wreck when the Broncos played the Hawks in the Super Bowl because I had a feeling it would go horribly.
I was not at all worried when they played the Panthers. I was not at all worried at any point in the Avs' Cup run last year. And I am not at all nervous about the Nuggets right now. I believe to my very core that we are winning it all this year.
When I was a kid watching Sakic/Roy/Elway/TD winning I was terrified every second of it, though. And the Mammoth absolutely almost gave me a heart attack last year watching their goalie steal game after game against clearly superior squads.

I have no faith we can beat the lakers and refs 3 more times The nba just wants the lakers in the finals.

Jokic is a man whose time has come and nothing will stop him. Not the refs, not AD, not LeBron, not this soft ass Boston squad, and not this shorthanded Heat squad.

I’d like to see a much more solid/convincing win tomorrow Jokic is literally averaging a 31 point triple double in these playoffs. He's far more likely to replicate his performance than the Lakers are to get 89 points on good efficiency from LeBron/AD/Reaves while shooting 46% from 3.

He wasn't good in the 4th as he miscalculated the Rui situation, made 3 costly TO's and also missed all his shots. He didn't score in the 4th until 36 secs before the end and that was from FT line. No wonder they got within the reach

I'm really confident and think that if the Nuggets players play up there capabilities than a ring is very possible. Avs team was more dominant and the Nuggets history is much worse but the Avs second round failures were looming in the back of my mind much like the Nuggets past failures are right now. I almost hit the panic button vs St Louis .. and I'll wanna hit it if the Nuggets lose tonight lol until than I'm pretty optimistic. I find it much different with the Broncos with the single game elimination. Not the same amount of time to build/lose your hope. It's truly the first time for me as a Nuggets fan that if everything goes how it should we should be champions IMO. Like if you get 7 more games with an MVP Jokic, playoff Murray, MPJ hitting the open looks, and KCP/Brown/Gordon showing up than nobody can play with us. Only difference between the Avs dominance and the Nuggets IMO is Murray's past consistency issues along with Gordon/MPJ.

This is definitely the first time I think we should win the title.
I have hoped we could win the title plenty of times. I even convinced myself into believing we maybe could a couple of times. But this is the first time where I feel like we legitimately are the best team. And it's because of Jokic. This year feels like how it felt with Cale Makar last year or how it felt with Terrell Davis for XXXII and XXXIII; "I'm the best in the world at this and there's not a damn thing any of the rest of you can do about it"

There's a difference between needing something to happen with the other team vs just needing your team to show up and play. Like I said the only doubt with the Nuggets and it's a homer to think otherwise IMO is the consistency issues. Even just with the team defense. In past seasons like '09 or the bubble you needed something to fall apart for the other team to win it. Even with all AC inbound s**t .. that was always an uphill battle. Melo just wasn't that guy.

What fami said.
We were underdogs in 2009 and 2020 - 2009 stings hard tho, because we could have won that - but ultimately, we were the weaker team.
This year? We are the best team and we're maintaining our focus.

the hits keep on coming for Mr. Embiid Trade Embiid. Trade Harris' expiring max deal. Build around Tyrese Maxey.

They should try tanking for several seasons to get good players. They could call it “the process”

to be fair, the 6ers post-Hinkie were victims are pretty bad mismanagement like:
maxing both Al Horford and Toby Harris and having to give up draft capital to trade the former.
choosing Ben Simmons over Jimmy Butler
drafting hometown hero Mikal Bridges and trading him for Zhaire Smith, whose NBA career quickly ended due to an diagnosed sesame allergy
the obvious Fultz over Tatum
I could go on.
I know fami will vomit reading this, but the 6ers could've easily won a championship if they didn't make so many glaring obvious mistakes.

Is that actually why Zhaire Smiths career ended?
Just read the story...jeez that's tough
