The most satisfying thing was Embiid being hunted on defense. I've been saying for years that the gap between the two on defense was vastly exaggerated and yesterday was a demonstration of why. Embiid is a better shot blocker but he's arguably worse at every other aspect of defense than Jokic. Certainly, the gap between the two on offense is immensely larger. Only Philly stance and some blind Nuggets fans don't see it

Only Philly stance and some blind Nuggets fans don't see it Embiid is way better in space. There is no argument against that, no matter how badly Embiid was beaten yesterday. He wasn't bad only yesterday. He gets obliterated on D every time when it matters. 2 years ago Trae Young clowned him as much as humanly possible and last year Buttler did the same thing. He looks good on D against Dallas and other non PO teams in meaningless regular season games

Maybe he’s excellent in outer space. Yesterday he wasn’t good in space, or in a race, or in Tatum’s face, or at Dr. Seuss’s place. He sucked, period. And his body of work in the playoffs is unimpressive however one slices or dices or spices it.

If the Heat are gonna win they're gonna need Bam to give them 20 and 10, minimum, every night.

Embiid being overrated defensively does not mean Jokic is good. People taking their agression of media and Twitter out on fellow nuggets fans. Sad

People here don’t believe in basketball karma, yet look at what happened to Embiid and his coach. Embiid wanted to win a RS individual award, and his coach let him play and dominate far too many regular season games that didn’t mean anything in order to get it, which he did. Karma arrived in the playoffs, attacking a fatigued Embiid with a knee injury which further slowed him down, and the coach who allowed him to go on his selfish pursuit gets the axe.
Karma.

Have to wonder if the Nuggets' performance in the WCF will determine Malone's fate. Crazy amount of dismissals already.
If our guys don't show up and the Lakers dominate the series, does Malone get the axe too?

Embiid went all out in the RS to win MVP and had nothing left in the tank for the PO, that's not karma. that's cause and effect. if karma exists, it's the Denver Nuggets unfairly dismissing George Karl because he couldn't win a playoff series against the Warriors with his best player injured (and his second best player conspiring with the opposing team) and being rewarded with Brian Shaw.

My point was that the karma went to Doc Rivers who allowed a team game to be dominated by a selfish individual. He got what was coming when that individual wasn’t there for his team to win when they had double match point. Sure, Embiid playing too much and expending too much energy during the season for an award caused his and his team’s collapse in second round. But it was his coach who permitted it who had to pay the basketball karma gods. Embiid still has his contract.
