I’ll have peace of mind that America hasn’t completely jumped off the cliff if Harris wins. That’s the peace I know Harris brings. Oh, and breaking news: Liz Cheney says “I will vote for Kamala Harris”! As long as we in america gets what we need then i dont give a s**t about how we affect the rest of the world. Sounds like Dick Chaney

It's easy...and lazy...to say "Both parties stink". It relieves people of their responsibilities of citizenship. There will always be two mediocre parties, and there will always be one which is worse than the other. Sometimes the difference is minimal and sometimes it's existential. Now is one of those existential times. Trump is Hitler 2.0. A version with lots of issues needing correction before the next release. Hopefully his body will give it up before all the issues have been "corrected" or we'll really be f*cked. Im far from no Trump supporter, but saying he is Hitler 2.0 means either you dont respect what Hitler actually did and his victims, or that you are flat out lying to yourself to make this seam easier than it should.

I genuinely hate both parties. 2 party system is absolutely killing the country. But it will never not blow my mind how these school shootings can happen and people can be proud, gun wielding Republicans. It's sickening. 1. Most of these gun events are likely tied to intelligence agencies - read the notes on the Vegas concert shooting. You’ll be absolutely livid at local law enforcement and the fbi once you’re finished reading. 2. Criminals will maintain easy access to guns even if they’re banned - primarily because of the funnels from mexico. The solution is that good people have access and learn to shoot - that’s why our side won’t cede an inch on this debate. How about just letting criminals have guns? 1% of the population having guns is better than 50%? Like how many accidents happen.

Yeah and a majority of the mass shootings that happen in the US are from guns that were purchased legally, or taken from parents lockboxes that were purchased legally. Very rare you see a mass shooting where the gun was obtained illegally. Multiple mass shooters have walked into gun shops, bought the gun and carried out the murders the same day. It's a complete joke and will never stop because of $. Same reason why dumb s**t like alcohol and cigarettes are legal. Because humanity isn't cared about, money is.

Of course they’re bought in-store - likely by the fbi lol. I don’t see the connection with money on this one - the people who want these protections, at ground level, don’t trust the govt. In regard to mass shootings - I’m far less concerned about alcohol and cigarettes - far more concerned about the over-prescribing of SSRI’s - the one thing that seems to bond most mass shooters (or at least those manipulated into particpating).

Google “Mexico” with “cartel sex-trafficking” and “kidnappings” - you’ll get a quick idea what life is like in communities where the criminals have guns and the general public does not. In contrast - the safest euro countries (Switzerland, Finland, Sweden etc) all have enormously high levels of private gun ownership as a commonality. Guns are good - especially when good people are encouraged to carry and learn to shoot (much like the cultures in the euro countries I just named). Of note - Mexico basically makes it illegal for a private citizen to own guns. Last I checked - there’s far more random acts of crime in mexico than there is in Switzerland lol.

All of those countries have much more regulation when it comes to guns, and stricter gun laws. Something the US refuses to do because the GOP and NRA need that sweet, sweet $.

Allan Lichtman is rigorous with his eleven keys. Here he goes over each one in a livestream and debunks the claims that he is biased or that subjectivity invalidates keys and what they predict for this election. He shows why he isn’t trying to help Dems (though clearly he and his son support Harris), and sticks to a very strict and narrow interpretation of each key. It’s a fascinating system, not that I think it’s 100% infallible. But it has worked in every election since the first prediction in 1984… www.youtube.com/live/okYUg_Dx1iU?si=v4zOsuYT77BGMcH-

It might be worth placing a $500 bet now on Kamala, then. If Lichtman has you reasonably convinced, it’s a good bet. Also, betting sites and Vegas favor big money skewing odds, and there’s no doubt in my mind that big money (billionaires like Musk and Larry Ellison) or their wealthy brethren could easily makes odds lean toward Trump. Remember that Vegas odds are set where half the money is on each side of the bet. Odds don’t reflect true probabilities of a particular outcome. Only shows where the money is. Big money favors lower taxes = Trump.

Of course this is what they should do, but our Walmart gazillionaire owners want to dance in their money a la Scrooge McDuck. I thank god for free streaming, without which one of their all-time greatest and longest-term fans might not have seen them win their championship.
(FYI, I am 70 and the Nuggets have been BY FAR my favorite team since the beginning of the ABA. I went to ABA games at the Auditorium Arena. Saw Spencer Haywood play. Several times. I saw Dan Issel when he was a Kentucky Colonel before he became a Baltimore Claw and a Denver Rocket and eventually a Nugget. (Years later) You can blame me for Earl Boykins (talked Kiki into it via email) and many more stories.

I'll be very interested to see the polls that come after.

My mothers family is literally from sweeden and i literally own a cabin there, spent most summers growing up there.
What the f**k are you talking about high gun ownership in sweeden? Maybe in like some provinces with big hunting culture. But you make it sound like anyone that isnt a criminals has a gun for their own «protection» when absolutely no one does

Dick Cheney will vote for and endorse Kamala.
I have no problem with this. EVERYONE who votes against Trump is a hero.
Next up is George W. Bush.
