Like can someone tell me if we would have had the TPMLE without the Zeke extension
I honestly see no reason as to why he did that.
I also don’t get why he have had no respect for picks and thrown them away
Other than Pickett I do have some hope for his draftees. Tried watching some Pickett highlights yesterday to hype myself up, but the man literally can’t dribble. What was he thinking?

Not sure there was a single big name NBA analyst that did not call out FO (more Kroenke family than Booth) for being cheap and wasting Jokic's prime.
So as much as we here are irrational, seems this time there is a consensus.

The last 2 offseasons have been embarrassing to say the least.
Terrible contract given to Reggie. Terrible contract given to Zeke. No trade at the deadline to bolster the roster. 3 wasted draft picks. Extending Murray after his worst playoff run at a max contract (disgusting). Trading 3 seconds to get off of Reggies contract (that Calvin gave him in the first place) Losing KCP. Trading up in the draft to get a guy that everyone in the world knew Denver wanted (also terrible stuff from a GM to make it that obvious you want a guy)
Just absolutely horrific stuff. Not sure Calvin has done a single good thing after Year 1.

Not sure Calvin has done a single good thing after Year 1. I feel about the same way and I am going to drag it out a bit more. I don't have an issue with him drafting who he drafted last year, but I don't like how he locked them up for 4 years before they ever stepped foot on an NBA court. They should have been two year deals with team options on the second year or two way contracts and keep an open open roster spot to convert one of them to a full time deal if something goes well. Zeke, pick up the QO and make him get a match this year from another team, the worst case scenario is losing him for nothing instead of what will likely be a 2031 first. This year so far Calvin has managed to use 5 draft picks to unload and draft one player. The positive here is the nuggets didn't gain or lose a roster spot. At the moment he is rumored to use the 2 open roster spots on a PG and a center. You still have Zeke, drafted a rookie center and you are about to sign another one for 3.6 million. It doesn't make a bit of sense. |

Honestly, you have to wonder what mandate the Kroenkes are issuing to Calvin behind the scenes. "Save us money" or "build a contender". If it is the latter, it's not looking too good and this thread has reason to exist lol.

Vlatko pre-injury showed more than Zeke, and costs significantly less than Zeke.
He's a potentially useable player and very cheap.
