Okay... I'll leave these ones up as a reference point but take it to DM's if you two want to continue to bicker with each other. As for what occurs in this thread, it ends here. Chill.

Can we please focus all our anger and frustrations towards booth, Josh and Stan Yeah lets s**t on this clown show organization that has one of the 5-15 best players to ever lace up basketball shoes in their prime and is doing absolutely nothing to help him.

Can we please focus all our anger and frustrations towards booth, Josh and Stan lol Wizard did ask why I didn't like Saric - Reason why is becasue of the TWolves. We need someone whose not afraid to bang and put a body on Gobert and Naz. I worry that Saric is soft, and will get eaten alive trying to chase rebounds - but I haven't watched a lot of tape on him, so please correct me if I'm wrong. In reality - I would like us to sign Drummond, Cousins or WCS.

Plumlee should have been the Nuggets target but they don't give a f**k about improving this team. They'd rather have young guys who aren't proven.

Remember when people actually thought we could sign Drummond and Garris for vet min and both went for more than we could offer them? Good times. Can't remember if anyone here said it but I certainly saw the sentiment on Twitter and various free agency articles.

Ring - plum will get destroyed (much as he did in the WCF against Dwight)
Andre signed for $10m, 2 years - this one hurts.

No thanks. Cousins is completely washed and is crazy to boot. Cauley-Stein busted his way out of the league. Drummond has already signed up to be Embiid’s playoff stand-in. There is a reason that Drummond went from being an allstar to a bench player in his 20’s — he didn’t lose what he had, the league changed around him.
We need to have guys on our bench with NBA skills. I’m hoping they can add Saric.

I didn’t think we can sign Drummond for the minimum - but I figured we could match $5m.

Agreed on the league changing - but don’t you think Drummond off the bench gives us good rebounding and defense against those 2nd units?

Sure, but the bench is short on shooting, at least proven shooting. And Westbrook obviously is not the answer for that. So if RW it is, otherwise you have to add more skill.

I guess I've watched alot of Saric, and feel like he'll bang just fine, bigger issue is that if he gets caught in Pick N' Roll he's not great, but watching him last year, I never felt like he hurt them to bad defensively. His bigger issue is that he doesn't finish great in traffic, but he does shoot the 3 ball well! I think he would help us tremendously, but that's just me. As I said his per 36 numbers are great! Just my opinion.

You can rant all you want about Westbrook guys i would rather have any other available point guard outhere than him. T.Jones,Brogdon,Micic anynone but RW. Just look at this. And if you think it would get better with more freedom he would have here and 1 year older, you would wish to have Reggie back... www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/russell-westbrook-last-5-games-vs-mavs 8/42 FG for the series. That's 19%. And he was playing 18 minutes per game. No way that he would agree to come here and have even lesser role than he had in LAC. ...And yes, that was against "trash defense Mavs" not Twolves or OKC

100% guarantee we didn’t even reach out to Drummond, plumlee, or any other big men so far
Embarrassing and honestly hurtful. I’ll never stop rooting for the nuggets but this is one of the worst feelings I’ve ever had. And just 12 months after winning a title.
I knew it would be hard to stay at the top but I didn’t think it would fall apart this badly, this fast.
What booth and Josh are doing to this franchise is inexcusable. The team is worth billions and they are destroying it.

But the Clippers play a lot of awful "your turn, my turn" iso offense. I'm at least curious to see how he works playing alongside Jokic. I suppose the scary part is that if he's brought in it'll probably be to turbo charge the bench. But it's with our non-shooting static bench where he would scare me the most. But alongside Jokic, as someone who can aggressively cut and drive to the hoop, he just might be a valuable point of difference.

For regular season it may work just as it can fall apart. Gap between good and bad is gigantic. But come playoff time is what i am afraid the most, because if he is used at around 15mpg it will be a problem versus teams like OKC,Wolves,Boston etc. In units without Jokic he will have green light which is scary enough for let's say 8mpg. In 7 mpg he plays with Jokic problem is that teams will triple team Jokic and ignore Westbrook, CB and AG. Our lack of 3 point shooting is way bigger problem than our lack of downhill attack. For so many years we were begging Tim Connelly to build a lineup around Jokic that is capable of hitting 3s at/around 40% clip while being decent to good enough on defense to compensate for his deficiencies.
Well, we had that kind of unit for 2 years. It was the best starting 5 in basketball and in our championship year we had a 6 man that was a downhill attack player while being capable of hitting open 3s on decent clip.
In my opinion, big picture, Westbrook good does not outways all the bad that comes with him to our team concept/play.
Malcom Brogdon (If healthy) is the best choice, sadly, only potentially available as buyout candidate.
Edit/Quote: "But alongside Jokic, as someone who can aggressively cut and drive to the hoop, he just might be a valuable point of difference." You think there will be room in the paint to drive to the hoop with the amount of non-shooters we are going to have? Westbrook-CB-MPJ-AG-Jokic = Wall in the paint

I still think he has the quickness to do that against 2nd units.

I don’t think Westbrook is completely washed. He’s an athletic freak and if he’d be willing to harness his natural abilities on a better organized team, I’m fine with it. And if it’s true that Jokic has spoken with mgmt favorably about playing with Westbrook, that’s plenty good enough for me. Jokic knows 100X more than I’ll ever know about winning in the NBA.
I don’t get people here mentioning the likes of Brogdon. He makes $22.5 mil this coming season.
