The current supposed most likely outcome is Westbrook will be waived and signed by Denver at the minimum, versus a trade. Tony Jones alluded to that last night. I believe Harrison Wind did yesterday as well. Sounds like something that of course has some potential to not happen, but is too openly talked about not to have the important figures agreed to it happening some way. I dont get Why clippers just want to spend 4 million dollars to help their rival Clippers rock would organize a riot |

Usually done deals are confirmed. the FO is probably calling all 28 other teams trying to convince them to take Zeke in a 3 way. failing that, Calvin is going to have to trade his goonies from the second round last year Yep, I'm fully expecting some two player combination of Pickett, Tyson, and Strawther to be shipped out in order to meet the matching salary requirements. Zeke would have to be shipped to a 3rd party way under the cap to make that work but having serious doubt that happens now. |

Only providing this as a clear example of what a complete joke the Lakers franchise has become as KSE looks like a dream compared to the Buss family morons. There is simply no rationalizing a franchise giving the 55th pick that didn't do jack in college anymore than a 2-way deal. Any thought that there was no issues with Bronny getting picked late in the 2nd round went flying out the door when they gave him a guaranteed deal. Starting to doubt he spends a minute in the G-League.

Can super analysts on this board remind me why we gave Zeke that extension in the first place? because Zeke was a fine 3&D player Was that ever true, or was it just a fan fantasy? 3&D guys are perimeter players, usually 2/3 types like Braun. My impression is that he played center in high school and he mostly played inside at Arizona, where he made a total of 5 threes in his one season. Nuggets fans got caught up in his three% his first two seasons, but he only had 61 made threes in two years and that’s not much of a sample size and it seemed that the coaching staff — which had seen him shoot a lot more than did we — didn’t buy that he was really a shooter. I know I didn’t after I saw that he couldn’t hit a shot to save his life in summer league in 2021 after a full year of NBA experience. I wasn’t sure if it was lack of skill or just sheer panic after he had been told the coaching staff considered him to be one of the main scorers on that SL team. He can switch some but a 3&D guy is a guy you put on SGA or Booker regularly, aka KCP. That’s not Nnaji. |

Title hopes over This team is crashing hard and fast. Which sucks but we don’t have any picks to tolerate tanking you should take the summer off too |

As a foreigner reading and being involed in this 60 pages long debate of sort is like watching Trump/Biden debate. Republicans vs Democrats. Both sides knows that we are way worse today compared to our championship team/year. Only difference is that one half is defending the current roster, our youngsters and future vets (Westbrook) like they are going to all get better and be better when reality is that even if they do, will not be enough. Then you have the other side that out of pure anger of bad moves made by our front office (mainly in giving bad contracts and premature contracts with bunch of player options) is willing to make radical moves and suggesting to trade Jamal and MPJ when in reality there is no good value trade to be made that would make our TEAM better than it is.
Damage is done. Like i said. I am against trading Jamal and MPJ now because there is no good deal there but i am more than anything against our policy of giving huge contracts in advance when there is absolutely no reason for doing that.
Days of "City of culture and good guys" should have been closed the moment Tim Connelly was replaced by Calvin Booth and we made our finishing moves to build championship roster.
Again, Calvin Booth moves 2 years ago gave us the only championship in our history, that will be remembered forever. But that end of season press conference with Josh,Booth and Malone gave me zero hopes/faith that all 3 of them are actually on the same page and THAT is the #1 problem we have. Nothing else.

Plenty of people on this board have disagreed with me in polite manners, which usually causes fun discussion. As far as accusations of "homophobe" - I actually happen to be the first film "producer" to ever get a gender-fluid individual qualified for consideration as both Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. I also was the only person who ran for state office in Colorado, in 2008, who openly supported fully-legalized gay marriage (might have cost me the election, really - it was a close election) - but I did it because I have convictions and refuse to back down from them. So - accusations of me being homophobic are f***ing stupid. It's easy to be "fami." You hide behind a keyboard; whereas I have a sustained history of actually doing "things" based on what I feel is right.
