I do find it ironic that the DNVR crew ecstatic last night saying 2nd round picks don't matter, and now with the RJ salary dump we have no picks outside our 2031 pick left to trade, because Booth been handing picks out like candy!
I'd do the MPJ for PG in a heartbreak but now we don't have picks to sweeten deal because we've given them all away. I don't mind some of Booths picks but his handling of assets has been trash!!
I'm starting to get MIL vibes with this team where we are running out of options to improve team.

Pelicans just got dejounte Murray for nance, Dyson and picks
West keeps getting better
Unfortunately we are one of the few teams getting worse. I hope we get a real GM soon

yeah, which is why we shouldn't scoff at accumulating picks if we don't want to pay a free agent.

I agree with rock on this one. Don't help a team in the west get better while we get worse. And Dallas is already much better than us if this years playoffs are the measuring stick.
Of course a lot of that depends on how we use whatever we can get from Dallas. If it can somehow be turned into an equal or better player than KCP, then I'm on board with it.

If Dallas sends us something that a third team wants so we can improve, then sure But I do not want a bad pick because it’s “better than nothing” Notice all the nice favors we did for our exiting guys over the years. And all the nice contracts we paid out. Zero times has any team or agent reciprocated anything back Just say “f**k the mavs” and move on. No one will care. |

If they want to send us Josh green and a pick I’d listen. Green averaged 8/3/2 on 48/39/68
Not as good as kcp but he’s playable. His contract jumps from around $5 million to $12 million so not sure how that works for making a deal? Maybe green, kleber (to match salaries) and a FRP for kcp?

Calvin man...a f***ing shame. Had such a hot start but it's looking more and more like he has no idea what he's doing.
Think of the amount of picks he's attached just to get off of Bones Hyland and Reggie Jackson.
Literally every single Nuggets fan on Earth realized Reggie sucked and should not have been brought back. Calvin decided to give him our MLE AND GIVE HIM A PLAYER OPTION!

I think most NT posters could’ve ‘convinced’ Zeke and Reggie to accept their overvalued contracts. Pretty sure any of us could have ‘negotiated’ giving away 6 draft picks just to dump Reggie and move up 6 whole slots in the draft.
Booth plays the FA and trade waiting game like it’s 4:58 on a Friday and he’s late for happy hour.
Can’t wait to hear that we had to package our 2031 frp to dump Zeke’s contract…so we can give Justin Holiday extra money
