The biggest thing that I took from media day is Nikola Jokic needs more teammates like Aaron Gordon. The bigget thing i learned from media day is that we are paying 50+ millions per year a guy that is thinking about having MMA career after NBA lol. Zero humility and accountability with the same amount of moody/cocky/spoiled/entitled brat behaviour from Jamal. Everyone in Denver from Josh and Calvin to us here on the boards hopes that Russ will bring different type of behaviour, attitude, work ethic from Jamal, but i see them bumping heads early and often because Jamal gives me the energy that he will not accept any type of constructive criticism from Russ. Our entire season and chance of winning it all this year is on Jamal/Russ relantionship and how that relationship spreads on the rest of the team. We either dominate entire NBA or it turns bad and ugly really quick. I do not see the middle ground.

Josh has spoken: Nuggets Fans, In 16 days, we will begin our 25th year in Ball Arena. It is remarkable to look back at all the history made here over the past quarter of a century since my father took over ownership of this arena and franchise and first implemented his vision for the Nuggets. We've been fortunate to witness some incredible talents, from Carmelo and A.I., to our current stars Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. In this building we’ve earned six division titles, a Western Conference title, and the city’s first NBA championship. Just last spring we celebrated Murray’s iconic “Shot at 5280” and a third MVP for Joker. As we prepare for the Nuggets home opener on October 24, we are excited to embark on a new chapter for the Denver Nuggets and our fans. Inspired by your passion and insatiable demand for your favorite teams, we are thrilled to share that we have a solution for you to watch all Nuggets games this season. Thanks to our tremendous partners and the hard work of many of our teammates, we are pleased to announce an expanded distribution model for our Altitude Sports network that will give fans wider access to more live broadcasts of all games. Yes – all games. Beginning in mid-October, every Altitude Sports broadcast of the Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche will be available on Altitude+, the new streaming home of Altitude Sports. You will be able to download Altitude+ on tablets, smart phones, and smart TVs starting in mid-October, ensuring that Nuggets Nation can enjoy content wherever they are on their preferred device. Altitude+ will carry at least 60 games per team and will be available as a direct-to-consumer streaming service for $19.95 per month. Consistent with past years, Altitude Sports network will continue to carry local games on television for subscribers of DIRECTV, DIRECTV Stream, Fubo, and Spectrum TV. (For a full list of providers carrying Altitude Sports, visit www.altitudesports.com/how-to-watch.) In addition, today we announced a broadcast rights agreement with TEGNA, which will enable 20 Nuggets games to be shown for free over-the-air on Denver’s 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) and My20 (KTVD-TV). This is in addition to the 22 national televised Nuggets games that were previously revealed. Games airing on 9NEWS and My20 will be produced by Altitude Sports and will feature the same talent with Chris Marlowe, Scott Hastings, Vic Lombardi, Christopher Dempsey, Katy Winge, and Bill Hanzlik. This is an exciting time for Colorado sports and we cannot wait for you to be with us every step of the way in our quest to bring a second Larry O’Brien Trophy to Denver. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at Ball Arena soon. Josh Kroenke President/Governor, Denver Nuggets

I've beaten a dead horse on this topic but yeah...honestly wish Murray wasn't on the team at this point. Guy is an arrogant prick and not in a good way. Hope Jokic can overcome it and he is good enough to do so but gun to my head I think Jokic finishes with 1 ring due to the Murray contract. I understand we have to support him because he's a Nugget but taking off any level of bias at all...how the f**k can anyone like this guy after his actions the past year? Has a historically bad playoff run, cries during games because of physical defense, throws a heat pack on the floor risking injury to teammates/opponents, has an all time bad Olympics run and then comes into media day offended and petulant regarding basically any question. You just got a $50M a year extension to play basketball. Stop acting like your life sucks. Thank God this team has guys like AG and MPJ. Everyone shits on MPJ (myself included) but that guy is mature enough and has enough balls to take responsibility for his poor play and partially costing his team in a playoff series. And he did that while having a much better playoff run than Murray who takes zero responsibility and accountability.

I don't have to support Jamal Murray and MPJ. I can't stand either of them.
I will continue to post trade opportunities about them. Same thing with Booth and Josh Kroenke -- I will continue to post about wanting both of them fired.
Jamal Murray, MPJ for Luka Doncic on December 20th, 2024

Well... That's the ugly side of the coin. Let's hope he clicks with Russ and his general attitude change to the level where he unlocks into the legit all nba player. He has the talent. He just need that "Felipe moment" Joker had to start working on his body and mind every single day. If that becomes reality, i can see us dominate the NBA for years to come. If not, Joker will have Garnet/Dirk type of career in Denver, which is not bad ofc. But i legit look at him as the best player in history when it comes to raising the level of others. Would be a shame to end up with just one ring.

MPJ gets one millionth of the criticism Jamal gets even though it should be 50/50 based on salary, and he still b*****es and moans about "unfair expectations". he would retire if he received the heat Jamal does.

Oh give me a break. Murray yesterday was no different than Murray has been for the past few years. All of his media sessions are the exact same. He has an attitude in all of them and doesn't have any respect for the media. Jokic (who clearly hates media and doesn't want to be bothered) always treats the media with respect. My opinion of Jokic didn't change because he wasn't having a historically bad playoff run, wasn't out of shape, and wasn't crying because of physical defense. MPJ doesn't get as much criticism as Murray because he's not as good of a player. Still doesn't change the fact that he has the balls to stand in front of his teammates, coaches and media and say that he cost his team a series.

Ring is flat out insane if he really wants Murray off the team and believes the worst side of Murray (the heat pack throwing incident) defines who he is as a player, teammate, and person.
Ring is also unreasonable if he doesn’t understand that Murray’s poor showing in the postseason was heavily influenced by calf muscle and other injuries he was battling. Lesser players wouldn’t have even suited up and made themselves available to play. At maybe 70-80% due to nagging injuries, Murray did suit up, played, and never complained about his physical health. Hopefully he’s 100% healthy in the next postseason since that’s the only way we could make a deep playoff run.

Can we count on him to be healthy when it matters? Just paid him $50M. Fun times. Why do you guys not understand that there is a reason why Murray is always hurt/tired?

Well said Ring. Thats the #1 issue i have with Jamal. He is not a gym rat and if he was he would be much less hurt and especially tired. Cant wait for the first game of the season to see him at 6th min mark in the 1st quarter with hands on his knees huffin and puffin.
People forget how Jamal's body looked in bubble? He could have play 5 B2B in a row without breaking a sweat. My favorite Jamal moment was a 360 layup on Gobert in the bubble.
I know that he will never be that athlete again, but at least be in top condition and behavior on/off for 52 millions per year... To much to ask from a diva? Give me a break...
