The people who have acted like KCP is a major loss are delusional IMO. He was a very limited, solid role player. Those guys grow on trees. Yes CB won't shoot it as well. But he will get to the rim more, rebound better and help more defensively in terms of both switching and guarding bigger body guys. Nobody has a better +/- with Jokic. agreed but it only works if we can go out and sign some of them. like how the bucks went out and got delon wright and GTJ. we will 100% feel the loss of KCP this year (our depth is going to be a huge issue). the question becomes, by the playoffs, will the rest of the guys step up and replace 70% of what he gave for 30% of the price. Im confused do you agree with his insane take or do you think we will feel the loss of KCP?

Kinda sad how one f***ing person here respected what KCP did for this team. I can get not wanting to spend 20m on him. But for everyone to agree that he was overrated or wont be missed very much is f***ing sick

I didnt see you say this one year ago lmao. KCP is an extremely proven championship calibre starting SG You think +/- is worth more than actual history lmao. Delusional Jokic cant shoot, Gordon cant shoot, Braun meh, Murray cant shoot if we go by wiz logic. Didnt we used to have the best starting 5 in the league. Delusional lmao Where did I say Murray can't shoot? My concern is his athleticism and his inability to both get to the rim and finish at an above angle % wjen he gets there.

But for everyone to agree that he was overrated or wont be missed very much is f***ing sick No, what is sad is how far some people on here have their head buried in the sand to not realize KCP is exactly what he showed us in the playoffs last year...an aging SG that can no longer defend athletic wings while being shut down offensively. Give me a break on the "he was hurt" crap as most of the league has some ailments by the playoffs. Nobody is saying KCP wasn't an important part of the championship run, but so was Bruce Brown, Jamal, Jokic, etc.. as I was a big fan of the trade that brought him here. However, that was the past as acting like KCP was going to decide this teams fate going forward is borderline delusional.

Lmao, insane take. That’s like saying Murray is who he was in 2024 playoffs.
Good luck getting support with that take. But you can’t pick and chose.

Thinking nuggets is the only team ever in any pro sports that is better by spending less is legit delusional. I guess maybe f***ing moneyball did it This is just max level copium. I don’t think anyone say KCP decide where the team goes. What a wild f***ing thing to asume. Jokic is so insane he could legit win with trash. But people say we are BETTER WITHOUT KCP. That is delusion. And you thinking anyone is saying KCP decide the fate of the team is also delusional. Or just toxic and dishonest

My head is buried in the sand for saying:
- we are not better without KCP. He was not that bad
- pro sports teams almost never are better when spending less
- that KCP isn’t the end-all be-all of this team
Please tell me if you have a diagnosis I should know about, because I don’t want to make fun of you in that case

I never was that high on Dozier either. And a much better comparison is how this reminds me of how NT legit said and thought we would be better with Watson instead of BB. How did that turn out guys

at 32 years old Danny Green was getting death threats from Laker fans because he was washed.
we'll soon see KCP settle into a Wesley Matthews-like existence now that he's playing off Paolo and Wagner and not LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

I don't mind KCP leaving for Orlando, but why couldn't we do a sign-and-trade to get something back? Oh I forgot our GM is Calvin Booth

Aaron Gordon will wear #32 this year, switching from his former #50 to honor his late brother. Hunter Tyson will wear #5, giving up his #4 for Westbrook. Wind reported that Westbrook asked for Braun's #0 and Braun declined. Westbrook says that never happened and said Wind is spreading false stories. such a random thing to make up. I wonder if someone lied to wind?

Im confused do you agree with his insane take or do you think we will feel the loss of KCP? I disagree with his take that losing KCP wont be a big deal. It definitely will. Hes a rotational player and a shooter on a team desperate for depth and shooting. Now is KCP worth $22 million? I dont know yet. Its a huge gamble. I honestly dont care about the lux tax bill - stan is a billionaire, he can afford it. What I do care about is all of the penalties and limitations the second apron inflicts. Thats why im not 100% against KCP walking, there is some logic there. If it was purely financial, then its a disaster. But it was more than that.

The question becomes, would we be worse in the next 2-3 years with KCP and all the second apron issues OR can we use our new limited options to make up for the loss of KCP? Not sure I trust Booth on that one. but we dont have a choice anymore.

Oh I forgot our GM is Calvin Booth The other team will only do a S&T and give something up if there's something they can get out of the deal, like bird rights or the ability to move an unwanted contract, that's worth them adding in a 2nd rounder for.

I'm afraid if we get any extra 2nd rounders Booth will just give them lifetime contracts anyway
