I don't want to argue with you anymore. We all come here because we love BB, we love Nuggets, we do some venting here and for good because we have some extra time to do this. And the fun part is that we don't need to agree on diffetent takes. What triggered me was, that last year you clearly took "the rest" over "the rhythm" and fully supported the decision of resting the players rather then playing them to keep them in the rhythm. This year for some reason you supported chasing the seeding over the rest and that was strange to me considering that the title was won in the only year when Jokic and Murray were both fully healthy but played less than 70 games in RS. I know that some people here see Jokic as a superman who can play 80 RS games and he definitely can physically, but there is a mental part to it and we have enough data of how he behaves when mentally exhausted. And if he is not 100% mentally ready we have a zero chance.
Pass - I think you have me mistaken with someone else. I advocated resting starters at the end of March, with a full 10 games left:
nuggets.proboards.com/post/778130nuggets.proboards.com/post/778546Not really. I must have missed that single post but that wasn't really a take. I remember these:
"In regard to minny -
Much like we did to the GRIZZ last year, we broke minny. Again, their conditioning is garbage. But they walked into ball thinking they could take us on, and absolutely got manhandled. They’re shook and on the path to implosion. "
"I’m still concerned about the Pels - but I’m going to predict we beat the Pels and are facing the suns in round 2.
"Yeah - you criticized my take for observing that the TWolves had run out of steam.
As usual - I have a long history of being right.
We could very well see the lakers again in WCF."
"Minny's legs are shot. That - and the Denver game took their soul. They know they can't beat us in the playoffs - and some mojo is now lost as a result."
"Play to win on sunday - avoid the Pels."
"Bro - if we play Minny or the Pels, you're going to be seeing a lot of DJ in the playoffs."
"OKC is not going to be the first seed - I can guarantee that."
"Up to this point, Finch has been going hard for the 1st seed, to the point of even revealing his playoff strategy.
Let them have it. OKC is fading. We take 2nd."
From the posts above I didn't get the feeling that you really wanted to rest the starters but more to manipulate the seedings to avoid certain matchup. By resting starters we would probably ended up being #4 and you were saying grab #2 or grab #3. Your best post came on April 8th when it was already too late. After that post you never criticized FO or coaching stuff for going "all in" so really no take there.

Now that OKC and Minny both won "toss-up" games -
I say take the 3rd seed and just f***ing rest all starters. Go in with health. OKC in the second round doesn't sc"
Last year you were pretty determined that the rest was the only way to go.
