It took Jamal 4 years to learn how to play with Jokic and now if we're going to wait until the youngsters learn how to play we're doomed. If Kroenke's allow that fuc* them. I'll appreciate Malone more if he never plays them Is it really that hard to play with Jokic? It should be easy! No it's not if you're skilled and on his intellectual level, but....

I put the PG's in the NBA into tiers, feel free to move a guy here and there, but where would Murray slot in this list. Luka Doncic Jalen Brunson SGA Donovan Mitchell Devon Booker Ja Morant Tyrese Haliburton De”Aaron Fox Steph Curry Tyrese Maxey Jrue Holiday Mike Conley Damian Lillard James Harden Anfernee Simon Fred VanVleet CJ McCollum Coby White Trae Young Lamelo Ball Cade Cunningham D’Angelo Russell Tyus Jones Immanuel Quicly Dennis Schroeder. Just took a look at the stat line after 58:38 lead in the 3rd Nuggets scored 32 points till the end of the game. Out of those 32 points, Jokic scored 21 on 14 shoots shooting 50% from the floor. The rest of the team scored 11 points on 20 shots shooting 25%fg combined lol. Matt Moore said that the team was built for Jokic and that he takes the blame. I congratulate to both, people building the team for Jokic and Matt who recognized that the team that was built for Jokic did their part and Jokic didn't lol. They built the team in such a way where Jokic should score 60 points on 80% fg so the losers can go 20-25% fg. Well I have a bad news for both of them. Jokic and the losers will never win it again if 1.) The approach to the regular season stays the same (burn the starters to the ground) 2.)The bench doesn't get drastically improved 3.) MPJ stays with the team

I'm in the camp of keeping MPJ. As others intelligently pointed out - all starters had no legs. Malone ran them into the ground.
I'm honestly very bullish about next year. I expect PWatt, Braun and Strawther to all show much more growth and be ready to take on a heavier load.
I also want to see Pickett on the court. Braun can always bring the ball up if Pickett can't. With our cap situation, we gotta work with what we have. I still think Calvin made good picks and we'll see their maturation next year.

This is an absolutely brutal quote: "I think Malone will have to play them. Hunter and Julian, these guys can manufacture points on their own. And I like the balance between Jamal and Jalen, who has been basically Joker Lite wherever he’s been. What happens when Jalen goes out there with Jokic and the ball’s moving around with both of those guys? It’s going to be like San Antonio with Boris Diaw.” - Calvin Booth Jalen Pickett is Joker Lite? Yikes. He was the 4th best player on our G-League squad this year (after Gillespie, Key, and Huff; just ahead of Tyson). calvin is legit insane. Jokic is 7ft

In the limited amount I've observed Pickett, your thoughts are right on. The guy can shoot...and pass...but he can't bring the ball up the court. Then whats his use? A PG that cant drible

Pickett isn't even a Markus Howard tier player.
Harsh but true.

Pickett isn't even a Markus Howard tier player. Harsh but true. Yeah, but is he a Facu Campazzo tier player? Well he's capable of covering somebody in the NBA so he's better than Facu on that front, and he can shoot much better. But in terms of handle and vision? Facu is lightyears ahead.

Meanwhile Jokic could only afford to miss 6 of 24 shots in order for Denver to win because other than Jamal no-one could score more than 7 freaking points. The team has to be better. All the way down to the bench. Which in turn makes Jokic better because the opposition can't afford to triple team him. Again, perhaps no superstar in NBA history has achieved more with less than Jokic over the past few years. But that has to change otherwise he'll be broken within a year or two.

Jokic is almost a guarantee to get to 2nd round. But to get past that we need at least 2 other guys to have above average series. Though if everyone just fage their average we probably win! Lol

If you think you were the only one saying that the Minny is between us and the championship you're dumber than I think. Just during this series you said so many dumb things that it's hard to count. I won't call you a dumb f**k as you were already called that on this board

I won't call you a dumb f**k as you were already called that on this board No dumbfuck. Nobody predicted the outcome of our playoff run more accurately last year than.... me (fami and I were basically 100%). BB also confirmed that Minny was our toughest opponent last year - as I also said on this board before the start of the 2023 playoffs. I'm the only one on this board that said that Minny was the only thing standing in the way between us and a repeat - been saying that for overa a year, and was proven correct. As for this series - I was right. Even when we were 0-2, I didn't say we were doomed. I said one or two adjustments, namely, exploiting Minny into fouls and slowing the game down with our half-court offense would even the series - I was f***ing right. I said Minny's achilles heal was poor conditioning. While that didn't prove out completely in our series - it's certainly coming true against Dallas, as Edwards can no longer shoot. I also said that if I were without bias, I would actually pick Minny to win Game 7 due to the fact that we had to shoot our season average on FG %. Our FG % for the game was in the 30's and.... we lost. I really don't care whether I'm accurate or not - I just enjoy the dialogue. It's a nice escape from usual busy-ness. But I will defend myself when stupid losers pick a fight. With that - I would look the above things up for you - but why should I assist you? I now have to focus on running the nationwide company I built from nothing. Try not to get breadcrumbs all over your keyboard, as you write a reply to this, pass. #YWDF

No clown you said that we're going to win this series. You even opened the game thread becausey you belived it. You said that we're conditioned better then them and that they will fold down because of that. Before you said that Minny was staying in front off us and a championship but we would beat them as we're a better conditioned team. So you literally predicted both possible outcomes so you can claim one as yours. What a clown lol.

I don't want to argue with you anymore. We all come here because we love BB, we love Nuggets, we do some venting here and for good because we have some extra time to do this. And the fun part is that we don't need to agree on diffetent takes. What triggered me was, that last year you clearly took "the rest" over "the rhythm" and fully supported the decision of resting the players rather then playing them to keep them in the rhythm. This year for some reason you supported chasing the seeding over the rest and that was strange to me considering that the title was won in the only year when Jokic and Murray were both fully healthy but played less than 70 games in RS. I know that some people here see Jokic as a superman who can play 80 RS games and he definitely can physically, but there is a mental part to it and we have enough data of how he behaves when mentally exhausted. And if he is not 100% mentally ready we have a zero chance.
