I really hope Murray expoldes on Sunday and puts 35-40 points and we are in WCF… but his inconsistency is still a major concern.
He has to be smart (he’s max player) and realise early into game when is just not his night and help his team in other ways. Do not force things and dribble until ball goes out of bounds.

I'm honestly not disappointed in our guys.
If I can politely ground the boo-birds in some reality:
- our guys defeated Minny 3 straight times (2 of those occasions in their house) - there was only ONE day rest in between all of these games - in doing so, our guys also expanded more energy than their guys
Read the above 2 or 3 times.
Our guys are exhausted. In regard to Game 6 - Minny's guys got to come home, get home-cooking, get a nice massage and BJ from their wife/lady, sleep in the bed that their wife has dutifully prepared - both teams were spent, but odds were, Minny's guys come to the Target Center with more energy.
I know we're shitting all over MPJ and Murray - but Jokic was also 0-4 on 3-pointers. When Jokic did go inside, he was pure garbage.
Frankly - Minny was also garbage. Most of their points came on fastbreaks, after our guys missed a 3, but were too slow to setup the defense. So Minny was also garbage - but we were a full step behind due to not being at home ("see above regarding the benefits of a wife").
Am I mad at Jokic? f**k no. We beat the TWolves 3 straight times. At some point, legs get shot. Last night, our guys couldn't score layups, three's or mid-range 2's. We had nothing left - and that was for every member of the team, basically.
A 2-day break is going to favor us far more, because we're giving rest to one of the few players in the league that has often won playoff games single-handedly - and that is: Jamal Murray
I personally expect both teams to come out fatigued - but some home-cooking and home-rest is going to benefit Jokic and Murray mightily - while the TWolves have to stay in a hotel, trying to acclimate to altitude.
This is also not Game 7 PDX 2019. That was our first-ever playoff run. If you think the bench was bad now, recall a time where our backup C was Mason Plumlee, who couldn't rebound, couldn't block, and couldn't score (lol). We're a much different team now.
Relax all - our guys got this.

I think this game is pretty simple. The Wolves are going to double team Jokic all game and force the other guys to make shots. Do you have confidence in the other guys on this team? I do not. Therefore I am picking the Wolves. Hope I am wrong but the Wolves have the much better defense and that is typically what wins a Game 7. Should the Nuggets lose this game, it is time to move on from MPJ/Murray. MPJ is a lost cause at this point that can't be counted on. He's basically a opponent dependent role player and you can't pay a guy a max contract that can't play in certain series. Murray cannot be counted on to stay healthy. 3 of 4 postseasons now. The Nuggets franchise owes it to Jokic to surround him with other elite talent and lessen the workload that he has. Terrible take. The other guys playing minutes are all NBA champions, fgs! Again, if a Nuggets fan trusts these guys in a Game 7 I tip my cap to them. All playoffs long they've shown us who they are. An extremely inconsistent group. I trust Jokic. On the Wolves end I trust Conley and Ant. 2 > 1.

again, we're one game away from the WCF. we don't get here without Mike torching the Lakers, Jamal hitting two game winners AD's face and torching the Wolves in game 3. yes, they're both inconsistent but we're playing shuffleboard in Barbados without them. so hold your fire and put the trade machine on ice until we get eliminated. because you never know what's going to happen.

Most max contract guys are more consistent than both of them. If Murray doesn't play terrible in those same Laker games, they win and don't need late game heroics. MPJ was phenomenal against LA so I can't argue that. If you watch the Game 6 film and aren't absolutely disgusted with Jamal...I don't know what to tell you. Between that, the towel/heating pack s**t and him being a pussy when it comes to press conferences, its really rubbing me the wrong way. If you're going to talk s**t when you're up, you can't be a pussy when you're down. All the guy has done in the postseason is play like s**t, do dumb s**t on the bench and act like an arrogant f**k in press conferences. He owes the Nuggets an iconic Game 7 and for the first time in my life, I am betting against Jamal Murray.

here are some players in MPJ's and Jamal's price range:
Ayton Ingram Zion CJ Porzingis Simmons Tobias Harris VanVleet Lavine
I'm not absolutely disgusted with Jamal because 1. the Nuggets had probably the worst shooting performance in NBA playoff history and Jamal is only partially to blame for that 2. he's significantly injured and gutting it out. he gets a mulligan for the heatpack tomfoolery because he's never done stupid s**t like that before and you can give him a pass for being frustrated and acting out. he's human.
if Jamal pulled a Donovan Mitchell or Zion and put his health over winning, we would've lost in the first round and Jokic would be getting Embiided right now. bottom line.

Him being injured has nothing to do with him playing with zero effort level on the defensive end of the ball and also forcing tons of shots on a night where he doesn't have it.
This postseason his TS% is bottom 10 all time.

well, it's hard to play defense if you can't move.
and the entire Nugget team forced shots last night, including Jokic.

He's not a talented enough ball handler or athlete to beat Ant/McDaniels off the dribble. It's clear as day and would be evident even if he was healthy. His job should be to run Ant through a million screens on Sunday and wear him out in the altitude. MPJs job should be to play 10-15 minutes and give the rest of his minutes to CB.

This postseason his TS% is bottom 10 all time. Dare I say, except for the late game heroics versus Lakers, Murray has given us a Mudiay-level performance this postseason? There may be physical reasons for it, but there are mental reasons too. Such as forcing bad shots when he doesn’t have it. He could facilitate more.

look like we are getting the 6pm start time- thats good,, Much rather have that than the 130pm start time. But come 130 I'm going to be wishing we were playing. Just want to get this s**t over with at this point. Knicks only down 13 to start the 4Q so it's not impossible they come back.

No idea how anyone can be confident in this team right now. It's Jokic and a bunch of scrubs. Maybe he can overcome said scrubs but he's only one man. Minny will double him all game and the Nuggets will brick in typical game 7 fashion. I have no faith in anyone on this team other than Jokic. I know AG will bring it energy wise. CB too. That's all I got.

On Murray topic - Ant is just a class above and 1 on 1 stops him easily. We go through a lot on offense to shake him off. In games where an injury was obvious this was almost impossible to do. That also fucked with him mentally… But - don’t act like an idiot in press conferences, take a f***ing cue from Jokic or Ant on how they handle it, and don’t be throwing stuff on court… That is the part that bothers me.
