1. It's an 8 point game at the half in Philly. Relax. 2. It's a game the Thunder were expected to win before we had the Maxey/Embiid/SGA/Williams musical chairs this afternoon. Relax. 3. They're playing the Celtics in Boston tomorrow. Relax. 4. We have Jokic. Relax. 5. Relax. Yeah yeah. Just keep “relaxing” until they lock up the 1 seed. You guys keep saying it’ll work out and it just continues to go bad. Great plan Houston 11-0 run ties it up vs houston Today is going just wonderfully. Remember last year when you wanted to bail on the season and get JaMychal Green and Will Barton back instead of KCP and Bruce Brown?

There is nothing surprising about the score in the OKC game. Relax.
They have 5 or 6 bench guys better than our 7th/8th options this year. And all of them shoot 40%+ from 3.
OKC are a team built for the regular season. I really hope we meet them in the West Finals. That'd be best case scenario.

I know rock probably has genuine mental health issues, but sometimes it does get exhausting reading his doom and gloom bullshit everyday. Especially for 20 years straight. The 1 seed would be cool to have again, but this is one of those years where it truly doesn't even matter. In some scenarios I can actually see 2/3 being favorable and the matchups at #1 being the worst of the possibilities. But with how tight things are right now, it's impossible to say. Health is the only thing that truly matters.

I enjoyed it significantly more than the championship.

OKC an 11-0 run mid 4th qtr.
Have to admire their late game consistency.
A team of great shooters will do this.

Forget the 1 seed guys Okc is locking it up. Try to hold off Minnesota for 2 109-105 Sixers. Now we're tied in the loss column and they're rolling into Boston on night 2 of a back to back.

Okc missed three 3 pointers in the last few seconds. They also grabbed 2 offensive rebounds at the same time. 76's were lucky same way as okc was lucky against knicks

Now the narrative is shifted to
"If Embiid didn't get hurt he'd easily be MVP"
Which is, of course, ridiculous for a variety of reasons.
1. He always gets hurt, 11 years of data prove this.
2. His season numbers are heavily inflated by playing primarily home games and primarily crap teams. If he had played a balanced home/road schedule and a balanced sample of good/bad teams the numbers would be significantly worse.
3. The reason he got hurt this year (three times) is because he went back into blowouts for the sole purpose of stat padding. His numbers are inflated by this as well. Patrick Beverley quoted Embiid as saying he needed to play against trash teams so he could get to 65 games for MVP when Beverley told him he needed to rest. Embiid placed the MVP as his number 1 priority this year and it cost him his season.
4. Jokic's full season numbers are still better than Embiid's inflated numbers from less than half a season
Reminds me of all the Laker "moral victories" in the playoffs last year

SGA and Williams out again for the Thunder tonight.
Don't blow this, Boston.
Not expecting Toronto to beat Minnesota but you never know. They're on a 14 game losing streak, gotta figure they break that eventually.

Toronto's draft pick is top 6 protected. They have no intention of winning and potentially overtaking the Grizzlies' win % which would reduce their odds of retaining that top 6 draft pick.
Anyway, not fussed if Twolves finish with the 1-seed as being the 2-seed with OKC 3-seed is best case scenario imo.
Especially with Mavs likely in the 4-5 slot.
