I'm sorry but - saying that Book and Beal are as good of playmakers as Murray is absolute slander to Murray.
Murray is a damn good playmaker. Look no further than his 2-man game with Jokic and continuous quick decisions there, that often involve difficult passes to Jokic, MPJ or others, once players have a window to receive a ball.
Beal and Book are fantastic players - they're not playmakers. Neither could thrive in a 2-man game with Jokic. The passing skills (fitting balls into tight windows) as well as quick passing intelligence just aren't there.
Murray continues to be the most underrated player in the NBA.

Word up to Kelly Oubre - who is playing like an all star, as I expected it (on a $2 million contract!).
I'm just grateful Minny didn't sign him. Why teams didn't sign Oubre - I don't understand?
That dude is an all star, and is going to keep Philly relevant this year (unfortunately lol).

Tough to use two man game with Jokic as evidence of Murray playmaking. When did Book or Beal play with a big on Jokic level? I prefer Murray but both would definitely thrive playing a two man game with Jokic.

I prefer Murray but both would definitely thrive playing a two man game with Jokic. Both would be better with Jokic than without him, obviously, but neither of them have the passing, vision, or ball handling that Murray has with or without the big man. For some reason when a point guard can shoot everybody ignores everything else they do.

big difference is Jamal is a point guard, has always considered himself a point guard and basically bought into Jokic-ball from day 1. impossible to say with any confidence if Booker or Beal would be as receptive to taking a backseat to Jokic, particularly during their formative years in the NBA when the priority for them was developing their offensive skillset. my guess would be no.

Jack White selected first overall in the G-League draft. He'll go to the Texas Legends and be eligible to be signed by any team.

Well there is zero evidence that they wouldnt take the backseat either. Common logic suggest they would because they understand basketball better than anyone of us. And Jokic is the best player on the planet.

Stopping all 3 of them on defense is going to be quite difficult. They will almost always have at least 2 of them on the court at all times Braun on Booker KCP on Beal AG on KD correct that. AG on Hooker, Watson on KD 🤤🤤🤤

I think the Nugs might be pretty motivated to win the in season tournament. The 500K per player prize is a pretty big incentive for a team that has 13 dudes making 5 million dollars or less, including 9 dudes making under 3 million. The two-ways are only making 560K (I think CG is getting more because he had a qualifying offer from last year).

"The Sixers are acquiring Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, multiple draft picks and a pick swap for James Harden, PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev, sources tell ESPN."
Clippers' rotation after this has only Zubac and Bones as players under 30. Lots of top-level talent, not very many hamstrings between them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bones once again is going to want to be moved. He’s off to a great scoring start, averaging 16 points in 22 minutes on red hot shooting (51/43/100) through their first 3 games. Now he’s in a crowded backcourt of Harden, Mann, Westbrook and Bones, all of whom are more on-ball than off-ball players (although to be fair to Mann he at least does what he’s asked to do). Add in that Leonard, George and Powell all like to have the ball.
There are not nearly enough basketballs to go around with that group. Bones may be the best spot up three point shooter on the team, so there is value in that. But good luck convincing him that his role is to stand in the corner, waiting to see if James Harden passes him the ball.
Clippers’ management seems perpetually to want to test whether chemistry is really a thing or is just something made up by broadcasters to fill time.
What a fun group the Clippers have!

really smart idea to push all of your chips to the center of the table three games into the season for a Frankenstein superteam - all 4 being chronically injury-prone and require the ball in the hand to be effective. brilliant plan, it's going to work out flawlessly for the Clippers.

Interesting that Bones wasn’t included in the trade. Yeah, maybe Clippers didn’t wanna part with him, but Morey didn’t want him for Philly, IMO, since he already has a rich man’s version of Bones in Tyrese Maxey.
And Bones is virtually a Philly kid, growing up in nearby Wilmington, DE.

Suns fans flexing on Devin's 8 assist/6 turnover game against the Warriors as a proof-positive confirmation of PointBook's existence.
