Can't stand this s**t from him. It's "we" when you speak publicly about the team. You're in the Finals. Quit separating yourself from the team when the team loses and acting like you're over here and they're all over there disappointing everybody.
You had like six guys not knowing where to be defensively. Not one. It can't only be on the players. And even if it is all on the players, it's the Finals. It's we. And us. Including you. If your team isn't prepared for a game, you have ownership of that publicly. Say what needs to be said behind closed doors.
Malone has been really good these playoffs, but these are the moments it matters how he talks to the media. I'm certain behind the scenes they're adjusting and doing it all, but publicly, man, this doesn't fly.
