Kentavious, yes.
Porter Jr, God help him. my biggest worry is he's in pain and just soldiering on. I just want him to finish the season injury free.

Underrated part of game 3: Monte showing up to support his ex teammates. Miss that guy streamable.com/3m6rnvman was more happy to see Monte than winning both MVPs. this moment must be bittersweet for Monte, Garris and Barton in particular. With Barton and Harris as starters we wouldnt have made it so far. Wish Monte stays as the 6th man and KCP still came..

When MPJ makes the 2026 AllStar game, maybe youāll change your agenda? Just hoping. Of course, Jokic and Murray are on another tier from the rest of the roster, but we have very good role players and players who can be borderline AllStars. Such as Gordon and, yes, a healthy MPJ. Heās still only 24. Even CB is a very good potential future star, though more likely simply an elite role player. I have no āagendaā other than wanting the Nuggets to win. I do have eyes, though. Gordon is an elite role player. Braun is potentially an elite role player if he stays healthy and continues to improve. Porter turns 25 in three weeks and his weaknesses are far too glaring for him to be a āborderline All-Star.ā The post-back surgery version of Porter is just not nearly as talented as we wish he was. Frankly, he was never as talented as we wish he was, as unfortunately his hands (which were not effected by his back surgeries) are not great by the standards of the highest level of a sport you play mostly with your hands. his salary is even higher than murray, though it is because of the year whrn they signed the contractā¦

Wish Monte stays as the 6th man and KCP still came.. that's understood by everyone but I think from their vantage point, they gave their best basketball years to the Nuggets, resigned with us at every opportunity given to them and did not leave on their own volition so it's completely understandable if they're having mixed feelings about seeing the Nuggets competing for a championship at the highest level.

Our ceiling would be the western conference final with barton and harris playing 10-20 mins or more. of coz, if they stay as the benchwarmers with veteran minimum that's another story.

I don't believe KCP and Porter will keep throwing up bricks the whole series. it depends..the heat has great defence. i won't mind if our 3 pointers don't fall, as long as we bully their paint and we limit their wide open 3pters to a very low number.

For what itās worth - Someone on the āinsideā told me heās not injured, and itās just nerves. But - The way heās playing - he does look injured. He honestly doesnāt go through slumps like this unless heās injured. Fortunately, if it was a catastrophic injury, he wouldnāt be able to play defense at all (which he has been able to do). So - I wouldnāt be surprised if he has a minor injury, or maybe has the Jokic/Murray flu. Iām completely against trading mpj. That article about wearing a brace did us no favors - I doubt we get equal value back. More importantly, his qualities fit so damn well with this squad. Long term tho - mpj will be fine. Heās getting stronger every year.

I donāt think there is any rational reason to think Porter is injured. Heās just in a bad slump.
Porter only started 13 playoff games before this season, the first 3 playoff games in the bubble (Jazz series) before being replaced in the starting lineup by Grant, and 10 games in 2021, when the sans-Murray expectations were low. Heās really not a very experienced player, and is entirely capable of having a shooting slump.

If anything a lot of Porter's misses look like they have too much juice on them rather than not enough. That to me says he's pressing, not hurt.

Connelly too. Other side of the coin is guys like Bones and Jerami Grant who wanted out of this. I'd love to hear their thoughts. Maybe, in both cases, they are content that they did right by their earning upside, and they can compartmentalize. I think it is likely that Connelly already regrets bolting for (theoretically) greener pastures, although I think it is fair to say there are non-player former Kroenke employees who didnāt/donāt exactly have warm and fuzzy feelings toward ownership. There are definitely former coaches/execs etc. who donāt appreciate being characterized as ā or paid like ā easily replaceable āshark teethā or widgets or whatnot. Players have various motivations and weāll probably never get honesty from some of those who wanted a change of scenery. Agree. I think we're being pretty reductive to act like winning a title is actually the most important thing to everybody in sports. Ultimately, it is a job. Among players, especially, the window is very small to make this kind of money, and I don't begrudge guys for maximizing it. Among non-players, the compensation is extremely varied. Connelly taking the Minnesota deal was life changing stuff for his family, the Kroenkes have been very clear about the extent to which they value their front office, so you do what you need to do. I'm sure him, in particular, though, has to be quite conflicted. He's a relationships guy, and I'm sure he'd want to share this with these guys he shared this time with and maintained the optimism about where things could get to, even if it was not a widely shared belief. I'm sure there are conflicted emotions, though. You can make the logical decision for your family, make more money, but not get the same satisfaction as you did before. That's something lots of us can relate to on a smaller scale, I'm sure. If the Nuggets win the title, I hope the Kroenkes are not petty about rings and what not. I believe it's only relevant for the guys who were with the team this season, so that would eliminate some of the guys I wish we could give one too. But yes, I would give Bones a ring. The petty side of your brain can snicker that he'll have that in his house and have to look at it and be reminded he bolted and they were better without him. But the right side of this is to appreciate the people who played a part in this season, because all of it mattered to be here today.

I think it's extremely likely that Bones and Reed will get rings.
