Bill Kennedy is a great ref at least. Maybe he can balance out Foster

Guaranteed that Jokic will be in early foul trouble for at least one of these two games in LA. Maybe both games, but the bias does have to be hidden a little bit.
I think winning a single game there will be very difficult.

So as y’all know I’m a huge Draymond fan. I’m a huge Michigan State fan. I love his podcast. But the way he’s been talking about this series it’s been DISGUSTING. He’s so in love with the lakers and keeps bashing on the nuggets. Listen to it man it’s so annoying I haven’t listened and probably won’t, but its kind of difficult for me to understand because if it wasn’t for Rui Hachimura scoring more efficiently than the 28 year old version of Lebron — which is utterly bizarre — the Nuggets would be blowing the Lakers out, and that’s even with Reaves playing great. In the 2 games, Hachimura is 16-21 from the field, 2-3 on threes, and 4-4 on FTs. His +24 net rating (.835% TS%) has propped up the Lakers big time. Replace this with what was expected before the playoffs — a lot more Vanderbilt and Russell — and its highly likely the first two games would not have been close. So far the Lakers big guns are getting worked over by the Nuggets main guys big time, except for Gordon struggling some. Aside from unexpected greatness from Hachimura and Reaves, its difficult to understand what Draymond is loving from the Lakers.

There is no way I make it through this series
I’m already too stressed. And the game doesn’t start for another 8 hours

I’ve generally been satisfied with Scott Foster’s officiating in recent seasons. I think he (and Bill Kennedy too) is a much better ref than Tony Brothers. I was quite surprised that Brothers was the crew chief for the last game as I didn’t think he ranked that highly among NBA officials.
The Nuggets got a lousy whistle in game 2 and won anyway. They’ve learned to do that.

I think winning a single game there will be very difficult. And I think the Lakers pulled out all the stops to win a game in Denver — guarding Jokic with Lebron in game 2 was borderline desperate — and their failure to do so increased the odds of a Nuggets win in LA.

Speaking of tony brothers, why did the ref crew all have his initials on their shirts? I’ve never noticed this before

There is no way I make it through this series I’m already too stressed. And the game doesn’t start for another 8 hours why are you stressed? you are 100% certain we will lose this game. there is nothing to stress about then. and you made it through Phoenix series where you were 100% certain we will lose series after 2-2.

There is no way I make it through this series I’m already too stressed. And the game doesn’t start for another 8 hours I was like that for games 1/2 but the Nuggets are in a great spot right now. L.A has two must win games. Nuggets just need to steal one game. If they steal one game in the next 2 and lose the series it'll be a laughable choke job. If everything goes poorly and the Lakers win both than it's just a brand new series. You'll be even headed back home. L.A would need to win 3 straight including 1 win in Denver to take a strangle hold on this series. It's far from over but so far things have basically went perfect for Denver. You got a huge AD game/poor defending on LeBron game 1 and you still won. L.A controlled game 2 for a huge portion of it but the Nuggets came back and grabbed the win. LeBron/AD both logged huge minutes. LeBron especially has been forced to use tons of energy. He hasn't been able to coast defensively and hasn't been able to take the same amount of plays off that he did vs GS/Memphis. Winning games 1/2 has been the key for the Nuggets all playoffs long like it is for most teams come playoff time.

this series isnt over. all it takes is one lakers win in game 3 (which they are favored) and the series flips. it then becomes a must win for us. on the road. in a game where they have all the momentum. 2-0 is nothing. I hope the team is focused and not taking this lakers team lightly. this series is NOT over You'd think people would learn from the Suns series, but of course not. We were up 2-0 in that series and came back home tied 2-2. Series isn't over if the Nuggets go up 3-0 or 3-1. It's the first to 4. LA is undefeated at home. It's going to take an INCREDIBLE effort to steal one of these. Learn from the Suns series? You mean the one where we lost games 3 and 4 and still easily won the series? The Nuggets are not losing 4 out of 5 to this hobbled geezer version of LeBron.

We also pulled out all the stops to protect our home court by exhausting Jokic for 42 minutes and playing a virtual 7-man rotation ( ignoring CB’s 4 minutes and RJ’s 2 minutes). The more desperate team tonight is clearly Lakers, and usually the more desperate team wins on home floor. The refs being biased will only help them, not us. Not saying refs are part of some NBA conspiracy, but the bias always seems to go the Lakers way.

Game 1, Lakers run come too late and it was so frantic, I didn't process enough to stress lol Game 2, I was sure we losing. at half I was like, no chance in hell we get back, nothing was fallin'... and then when Jamal and MPJ showed up, it was pure joy. also, games starts at 2:30 AM here, so I'm too sleepy to stress, so maybe that was it lol

We held serve. We did the best we could But now the lakers have 3 of the last 5 in their place. Where they haven’t lost once. If we lose tonight the series changes. Then game 4 is must win for us and we are 72 hours from basically win or go home. Somehow we have to win one of the next 2 and I don’t see how that’s possible

The Warriors were catastrophically bad on the road this year 3. The Grizzlies were a wounded duck 4. We got a win in Minnesota and a win in Phoenix 5. LeBron is gassed, hurt, and old 6. Davis is made of glass 7. Jokic 8. Playoff Jamal's career numbers > playoff Kobe's career numbers
