the discourse after previous Nuggets wins was like "the Lakers figured something out" basically crediting them for a moral victory. We're down 3-0 in moral victories now.

beating the Lakers in the playoffs is like landing people on Mars. I'm not going to believe it until I see it. Same. I'm shitting my pants over the idea of losing a 3-0 lead.
Not going to happen. Nuggets are really really good

Countdown to when rock writes we could be the first team to blow a 3-0 lead in 3…2…1…. Ya know it’s gonna happen. I mean about rock saying something like that, not about us blowing 3-0 lead. Teams are 0-149 when behind 3-0 in NBA playoff history. Ain’t gonna lie The fear exists

It could if the Nuggets as a unit assumed it was over, including all players and coaches. The Lakers would also have to commit to working harder than ever before. They're all ready for Cancun.
However, we have had some amazingly bad moments. If the Lakers jump out to a big lead on the bench-led starting unit, pigs could fly.

The first game of the NBA Finals isn't until June 1st ...Jokic can definitely enjoy a mini-vacation in Serbia or elsewhere

LeBron accidentally gave a bloody nose to his teammate, Scott Foster earlier in the game ...Scott enabled so many free throws for the Lakers and this is how LeBron repays him?! Shame on you, LeBron

Don't agree about some of the names, Lou is/was what he is, we didn't expose anything new. Portland forwards did actually show how much defensive size you need around Dame and CJ combo once they left, but general consensus was Portland forwards were overpaid in a vacuum. Vando to me seems just like a LAL hype train, but yeah we did show he's not that great in the playoffs when everyone brings energy and that is not his standout skill anymore. Coaches - I dunno about Doc, he got opportunities after us, I'd call that a multiple attempts suicide, and not sure there is any credit to be taken for Snyder.
But, having sad all this - damn, Nuggs shaved tens of millions of DLo's next contract, especially having in mind he had some good games coming into the series.

I told ya guys -
LA knew.
That said - I've seen a lot of Nuggets games at Crypto Arena (god-awful name) and I never saw so few Nuggets fans than before today. I almost wonder if local fans were worried about getting beat up? (note: Lakers fans are actually very classy - arrogant - but not violent)
However - as mentioned - once the game started, I was shocked. The noise wasn't there. Nothing like the days Kobe ruled this arena. When the Lakers finally took a 1-point lead in the 4th, the arena momentarily got loud, similar to how it was for Kobe (however, with Kobe, those sound decibels went on for hours). The crowd tonight was depressed walking in. Lebron gave them some hope in the 4th - but it was dashed fast.
Wifey wore the nuggets rainbow shirt, babyboy wore a Jokic black rainbow, I wore the Murray black rainbow. I shook hands with all the Lakers fans around me and wished them a good game. When the game went on, I kept standing up after every made-Murray-3, and did the blue arrow motion. By the 3rd quarter, I reduced the standing. The Lakers fans were getting pissed (lol) and started carping at me. I was risking getting a fight started (and as an unvaccinated Trump supporter, I already know the LA District Attorney is against me - so no self-defense for me). Still clapped and hollered after made baskets (something about that Murray blue-arrow motion gets hoes really mad).
Lebron didn't have it from the start. Yes, he knocked down some 3's in the second half, but you could tell he was running on fumes. Davis definitely had more spring tonight - but I knew the Lakers would collapse - they couldn't get it done with a compromised Lebron.
Schroder absolutely marauded Murray and got away with a lot of touching in the second half - credit to him tho, as he played swarming defense (great adjustment on Darvin's part, who has turned out to be a better coach than I thought). Like every team we faced in these playoffs, the Lakers finally started to swarm Murray, who went into a playmaking mode that was as fine as his first-half shooting.
When Jamal and KCP had back-to-back steals in the 3rd quarter - a ton of air left the arena. The Lakers made some circus shots to stay in and even take a small lead - but for the most part, those steals killed the vibe in the arena.
Once Jokic made the circus layup in the fourth (with a free throw following) the crowd knew it was over.
When Murray scored the layup with just under 3 mins to go (putting us up by 12) an avalanche of Lakers fans got up and started leaving. The aisles were full. My wife was stunned. She turned and asked me why they were leaving? 3 mins was still a long time to hoist some 3's and hope for the best.
I explained to her that Lakers fans are like a tempermental girlfriend. If you make just 'one' wrong mistake, they'll get reactive, hysterical, impulsive - potentially slap you on the face, yell at you and storm out of the room. When Lakers fans are mad at the team (and feel let down by the team) they storm out, even tho, technically, the Lakers could have hoisted three's, played full court press, and hope for a miracle. These Lakers fans were akin to spurned lovers, and they were letting their partner know their disappointment.
Lakers subs went in, at the final minute. The Lakers didn't even stay for the final seconds of the game - they just f***ing left the court (akin to the fans). Nuggets players were kind of shocked. By the time the bell rung to end the game, most of the Lakers were already in the locker room.
We stayed back, so we could exit the concourse without a crowd.
As the arena finally emptied, I saw a cluster of Nuggets fans in the section kattycorner to ours, slightly elevated in the 200's section. I clapped at them and yelled "YES SIR!!!!" - they clapped back and yelled "GO NUGGETS!!!" -- all of us just clapped for a straight minute with smiles.
Been a fan of this team since I was 9 (I'm 42 now). First ballcap I ever bought was a Nuggets rainbow hat in 3rd grade - first game I went to was Nuggets vs Spurs (the year before we got Mutombo - we were terrible, but somehow came back against the spurs and overcame a 14-point deficit to win - my mother and I got beer spilled on us from the upper deck when the game ended - McNichols was a different beast).
Up to this point in my life, Avalanche Vs Devils Stanley Cup Game 7 is my fav sports memory (lucky enough to have great seats for that) - but clapping at Nuggets fans in Crypto, with a 3-0 lead, with literally no Lakers fans left? I would say that's my fav sports memory ever.
Lebron is on the phone right now with the Amex Centurion concierge, booking his summer vacation. These guys are done.
AD and Bron both with 40+ mins tonight. Slightly concerned about Jokic's flu - but AD and Bron will have ZERO left on Monday.
Don't f**k around Monday. Play good defense, don't turn the ball over - pass to the open man.
Nuggets in 4.

No - Aminu and Harkless were in the starting lineup when the 2019 series started - by game 7, they were bench warmers (and that's how their careers sadly ended). Lou Williams was a 6th man of the year candidate (leading one) until he played.... us. His career was garbage after that. Didn't end Doc's career by any stretch - but who would have imaged he would get fired? And Snyder - his slide started with us.

Nikola Jokic has clinched Joel Embiid by such a big margin that we actually gotta talk Jokic vs Wilt Chamberlain now.
