Wonder what game 2 copium would be after a loss. Would be hilarious. Game 2 is huge IMO just like it was in the PHX series. You win this thing and it makes both games at home for L.A must wins. You lose and you have to steal 1 on the road no matter what. Not sure if I'm in the minority but with all the talk about adjustments .. that's the thing that I'm worried the least about. We need Murray to have a good shooting game, MPJ to hit his open 3's, and Jokic to keep this streak up. Jokic has basically had 6 straight INSANE games .. one's gotta think he's eventually due to have a normal one eventually? He's a generational talent so who knows but his shooting efficiency during this stretch has been ridiculous. Pretty sure he's like 8-13 from 3 over that span lmao If the Nuggets offense shows up we'll win. Nuggets won't lose if you get a great Jokic game + a combination of a good Murray/MPJ/Gordon/KCP/Brown game etc. The two PHX losses came with a combination of 1 bad shooting night for Murray, 1 bad shooting night for MPJ where he missed a ton of great looks, 1 no show by KCP, 1 really bad game from Gordon, and 2 unimpressive games from Brown. The Minny loss came on the back of a brutal game from Murray and a no show by KCP. Lakers can't match us 1-6 but the Nuggets haven't been the definition of consistent this year or years past in the case of Murray/MPJ/Gordon etc. |

Murray has been far more consistent these playoffs than AD. Yeah AD has been rollercoaster. Which is huge for Denver because for all the worrying about LeBron and how we defended him .. AD is the guy we don't have an answer for if he's aggressive and consistent. He was the guy who popped off. LeBron got an A++ defensive situation and had a great game but was still outplayed by multiple players. I've been a huge Murray fan from day 1 but he has consistency issues. They seem to get better in the playoffs for sure. There's just alot of variance to his level of play. You can get a 1B Murray or a legit 2nd option Murray. You can also get him bricking open shots and for a guy that lives off difficult shots tends to lead for a really ugly night. Luckily AD has had similar issues this run as well. |

Yeah but let’s not forget - if the lakers win (because of rui or anyone else) we are going to get destroyed by the media. They will create whatever stories they want to fit their narratives.
Not to mention we have to goto LA and they have stolen homecourt
A loss tonight could be the end of the series for us

I certainly wouldn't do it but it'll be interesting if there's no adjustments to how we guarded LeBron and the Nuggets basically just bet on him not being aggressive enough to kill you for it or even his stamina running out. For all the talk about that .. you can live with what he did. It wasn't Booker level destruction. Especially if Reaves can't keep hitting from 3/AD has a down game. If AD doesn't go off than there's likely a narrative of LeBron not punishing Denver enough for how we chose to defend him. |

I’ll try not to post after the game I don't think I'll be able to look at anything basketball related till the next game lol What will drive me nuts is the narratives if Jokic just finally shows he's human. Who knows with him but even the greatest players eventually miss some shots. He's shot 67%/60%/72%/71% from the floor the past 4 games. 55%+ the previous two. Some absolute ridiculous shots made in that span. He's been automatic from 3. If he starts this game and has a few great looks but they just don't drop you know the media is giving L.A 100% of the credit for the adjustment. It wouldn't be the same if it was reversed. All the excuses given to a guy like Embiid over the years won't be there. |

I'm not against putting Murray on Vandy and just helping and recovering to Vanfy on any screens so that Ag can stay on LeBron though I don't expect Vandy to play a ton of minutes tbh.
