Payne can go for 20-30pts on a really good night. But I read somewhere that the Suns’ +/- was best with Paul on the floor, so he was doing a really good job. In no way is this a blessing in disguise. Also read they will go heavy iso with KD and Booker and surround them with their best shooters to pass to when we collapse. They think they can outscore Denver, but I feel MPJ will get it going and we got game 3. They have no shooters outside of Booker and Durant. Lee and Shamet can hit wide open 3's but they can't create for themselves and they'll be guarded well. If TC can shoot 70% from 3 they may have a chance they have Terrence Ross and TJ Warren. not great options, but they both can give you buckets. Ross is kind of like Will Barton. he plays with the confidence of Kevin Durant and skill set of me. but if he gets hot, he can single handedly win you a game. he gets cold, he can single handed lose you a game. They might use him if they go down big, but in tight game, I'm not sure Monty will be too eager to give him chance... as for Warren, he was trending up before that injury. scored over 50 in one game in the bubble, but then got injured and lost two full seasons... he should be their best bench option, but there is a reason he isn't playing. not sure why, but I doubt its cause Monty dont like his facial expression. |

Coach of the year material right there! thats desperation. he is under a lot of pressure. was called out why Shamet was given playing time in game 1, not Payne... after Payne f it up, now its why Ross and Warren aren't getting chances. kind of interesting when you think how fans knew more about Nuggets then Malone... like, we all know, if Nuggets aren't 2-0 in this series, half of this board would call for Malone's head and claiming only reason we aint winning is because Uncle Jeff is getting playing time. its pretty much same for every franchise. lots of Warriors fans are not happy with Steve Kerr... so being stubborn MF like Malone is actually good thing, cause even if you go down, you go down with what you think is right, not what keyboard basketball analysts think... every Laker fan KNOWS LBJ-AD combo is by far best in the league. every Nuggets fan KNOWS Nikola Jokic is second coming of Jesus. every Phoenix fan KNOWS Devin Booker is best guard in basketball. every Philly fan KNOWS Embiid is ... well, you get the point. so if those guys, and every single one is by far best of the best, aren't winning, only reason is coach. |

Obviously the smartest thing for the Suns to do is to just go all in on offensive scoring without CP3
