man KCP is the perfect role player. Took my sister to this game. One of the ushers stopped me to check on how my mom was doing after her brain surgery, which was really heartwarming. How is she doing? |

You and your mom hang in there, bro. My grandma had major emergency abdominal surgery and is currently laid up in a hospital bed in my living room. Her insurance supposedly paid for "up to" 40 days of inpatient rehab after the surgery but they decided "up to" 40 days meant 13 days, and they told us about it 6 hours before they booted her from the hospital. Had to drive all over town to find an adjustable bed. She's really starting to do better now but it was scary for a few weeks. She's turning 80 this year so obviously anything hospital related is scary. You’re a good grandson 👍 |

Kinda bummed this old, shallow Suns team gets 3 full days to rest before game 3. But at the same time it's probably good for us too. Jokic has the wrist, Green has the old, Murray and MPJ could probably use the rest.
I really think we can take game 3. If Paul can't go the Suns only really have one ball handler.

the Suns probably want to play as soon as possible to shake the L from their brains. we showed them in both games we can beat them offensively or defensively, the longer that thought gets to marinate in their head, the better.
and Paul is in his "Billups with the Clippers" era, so him having a few days off to get healthier doesn't change their fortune that much. Jokic having a few days off to get healthier however, is very very bad news for them.

I think its good the Nuggets get a few days off. The Nuggets are only playing 8 guys, Murray needs to regroup physically, Jokic’s wrist can use some icing and rest time, etc. Its all good.

Ya I'm on the side of wanting to play as soon as possible. I think momentum is huge in the playoffs. If CP3 is out and the Nuggets can somehow manage to steal game 3 and finish this series in 5 than it could set up for alot of rest before L.A/GS. Obviously if PHX pushes back it won't matter as much tho. I personally don't think Jokic's wrist is a big deal from what I've seen on TV. He looks fine to me. If that thing wasn't on his wrist nobody would blink an eye. Feels like most guys are somewhat banged up at this point in the season. |

Otherwise we could be done before their game 2 Yeah if Denver somehow pulls it off and finishes PHX/GS off in 5 than that extra rest for PHX/L.A would have been nice. Also I think just tiring KD/Booker out as much as possible is ideal. KD is old himself. They have pretty shitty support and zero depth. Nuggets may only be playing 8 guys but the support surrounding our main pieces is much better and carry's a bigger load. |

Booker is NOT on Jokic's level, freak. he is. 37 ppg in rnd 1. in rnd 2, 63-62 pts for Jokic, 14-10 assists for Booker, same fg %. Jokic only has advantage in rebounding, 35-9. Jokic has 2 steals and a block, Booker 2 blocks and a steal, Jokic 6 turnovers, Booker 5... and he is constantly being doubled and primarily guarded by KCP and BB who are far better defenders then Ayton or Byambo. also, Booker's defense is really good. we can argue that stats doesn't show full impact of Jokic's game, and how much he orchestrate everything thats happening in Nuggets offense(and to some extend defense), and that is true, but its not like Booker doesn't understand flow of a game... once he and KD figure s**t out, and start playing in sync instead of taking turns, be aware... next season they are going to be overwhelming favorite if they find decent replacement for CP3 |

Booker is annoying but he is a stud. Although no way he’s on Nikola’s level.
On the other hand, Durant turns 35 before next season, he’s not a Lebron-esque freak of an athlete, and he’s a 7 footer. Generally, 7 footers have been good enough at 35 to win titles if they can simplify their game and take a smaller role like Kareem and Duncan. That is not Durant’s game and it doesn’t fit the role he’s asked to fill on the Suns. Playing this big of a role, I think he’s going to continue to have injury problems.
Chris Paul is earning $31 mil for next season unless the Suns waive him by 6/28, in which case he’s still on the books for $16 mil for next season.

She's cleared to drive now, but short distances and she should have someone who can make sure she gets home if she gets worn out too easily (which is easy to do if she's loading and unloading my dad's wheelchair too.) |

The Nuggets better seize this opportunity. Getting extra rest before the WCF would be absolutely massive and they now have a chance at that. You absolutely have to take Game 3 or 4 with CP3 out. Him being out means less advantages for Ayton offensively and also puts so much extra pressure on Booker and KD to both score and create.
