Tim Bontemps: The Timberwolves say Kyle Anderson will miss Game 5 against Denver with the left eye injury he suffered in Minnesota’s Game 4 win.

That's a pretty big deal. Anderson hasn't been very good in the series but he's versatile and is one of their top 7 players. Wolves will have to go to Nowell now I'd assume.

There is not a single PG in the NBA that is worth trading Jamal for outside of SGA and i don't see OKC willing to do that. Jrue, Lowry, CP3 are old. Steph and Dame are on the other side of their prime and not a 2-way guards. Luka and Kyrie both have mental issues... If Jamal is the main reason we lose vs Suns, sadly we will need to run it back because trading Jamal at that point will not bring us the better player and his value would be all time low.
This team should have traded Harris and Barton (while they still had value in 2019) with picks for Jrue and play Jamal as 2 guard. We would be talking about our 2nd, 3rd, 4th championship today. Sadly, it takes people with vision and balls to pull unpopular moves for the greater good. If Minnesota doesn't get rid of both KAT and Gobert asap and go all out on building the perfect team around ANT, they would do the same mistake Tim Connelly did with the Nuggets. You cant just sit tight and pray that everything will work out with kids you drafted and let the generational talent prime go to waste because Denver is not Los Angeles and players like LeBron or Kawhi are not coming here as free agents.

For what it’s worth - TC had a jrue trade dialed up and done - garris and two firsts
Milwaukee caught wind and offered 2 firsts and a swap - NO was able to get 2 firsts and 2 swaps out of Mil (TC wouldn’t go farther than 2 firsts).
Try not to obsess over it because the same salary and draft capital got us Gordon, who is a better fit than jrue.

Fortunately the suns don’t have NAW question is why can’t we find these kind of role players that seem to be plentiful on nearly every other team?

The Suns don't have NAW but they do have Craig who has similar measurables. Okogie is super physical and has a 7 foot wingspan too.
The Nuggets just need to play Murray off the ball more in initial actions. He's being asked to do way too much right now.

We have a young one, but he wont get more than 13 minutes in a game.
Imo, its so stupid to not use our max defensive force on Ant. Nobody will stop him, but you must use your best punch.
I mean, KCP is a great defender, but he's a veteran and should not have this role for 35 mpg. I really would rather have KCP more rested fighting against Ant for 25/28 minutes and Christian Braun for the rest of minutes.
You have 12 PFs from great defenders to give against Ant and I really dont care if Ant has 20 FTs. Just stop giving him so many space.

Why would you put the only wing on the team on Ant when you can just guard him with a 6'3 PG? Malone has used Braun terribly in this series and it's really my only complaint of him. Ant is cooking everyone left and right. Braun is the best defender on the team. I'd try him. I'm going to have nightmares in the Phoenix series when Malone has Bruce guarding Booker instead of Braun

calm all.
Murray is averaging 25/6/7 on .571 TS% which is marginally worse than his bubble numbers. Finchie is the engineer of Jokic ball and the 2 man game and did a tremendous job scheming against it in game 4. but we'll adjust and put this team to bed in game 5.

If this was any other 1v8 and the 1 seed was up 3-0 in fairly comfortable fashion, then lost game 4 on the road in OT I would shrug and be like “meh, they still win in 5”. Who cares?
But now that it’s us for the first time in this position, I’m terrified and I feel like tomorrow’s game is 50/50
If Minnesota wins the pressure on the nuggets sky rockets

The nerves for a round 1, game 5 are already through the roof.
How the hell would I even survive a nba finals game 7 if we ever made It there? Lol.

Murray had 3 bad games and that's not going to cut it in the next series. In this series, he costed us only one extra game which doesn't need to be that bad at the end and we can live with that

no he certainty did not have 3 bad games. he was a game high +24 in game 1 for instance. but the problem is you and your boy alch only focus on his bad play to confirm your bias.

Only if you're lying to yourself he was good in game 1. He's a scorer and nothing else. In game 1 he had 11 points on 4 for 16 garbage shooting at the end of the 3Q when Jokic left the game with 20 pts lead. All the other points he scored in garbage time as the entire 4Q was a garbage time. We all know that it's 10x easier to hit a shot when you're 20pts up vs being 5 down

8 rebounds and 8 assists to 1 turnover in G1. sure, scorer and nothing else.
for a stat (plus-minus) you and your boy quote ad nasuem, you sure have a poor understanding of it.

passtheball is a good poster and I generally enjoy his takes but he clowns himself when it comes to his anti-Murray bias. the other guy is a different story, I rarely see him post anything that isn't Murray hate.
