I don't think anybody outside of rock is afraid of them. Just that there's an obvious preference. For me it's just that a Miami win in the finals will be historic. It'll take NBA history to lose. Boston is wildly inconsistent, soft, and Tatum/Brown can choke at any moment. They'll have home court and the ceiling of the team is on another level than Miami tho. 100% agree. I'd prefer Miami but we have things we can attack on either team and neither team has good matchips for our size. Yeah I don't disagree. Denver's the best team left. Just beyond easier vs Miami. For so many reasons that you can't even list them all. Miami will be alot more tired than Boston. Alot easier coming off a big break and facing Miami at home vs going into Boston after Boston pulls off the historic upset. Boston has some finals experience and Tatum/Brown are basically getting a second shot after coming up short. 99.9% of the time when you go down 3-0 .. you lose. Brown/Tatum are going to get a big time redemption arc and they've been ice cold from 3. You can play the best defense possible but eventually shots drop. They've been bricking open looks. Defensively on both sides of the ball it's just laughably easier vs Miami. It'll be a tough matchup for Denver defensively. I'm still confident/optimistic but your kidding yourself if you don't think Boston winning changes things in a big way. Home court is massive even if Boston has struggled in the playoffs there.

Pretty much a 7 man rotation for Miami tonight. 2 minutes for Zeller, 0 for Love, 0 for Highsmith. 47 for Butler, 46 for Bam.

the Heat are flying to Boston with the mindset that the Celtics stole one from them, not that the better team won. they regained their confidence and will not play scared in game 7.

Pretty much a 7 man rotation for Miami tonight. 2 minutes for Zeller, 0 for Love, 0 for Highsmith. 47 for Butler, 46 for Bam. Walking into Denver for a game 1 would be brutal for them. Boston winning game 7 at home and getting a few days and than playing game 1 at home is drastically different. Game 7 will be anybody's game. Butler/Bam were brutal shooting the ball but Celtics struggled from 3 and Miami shot well from deep despite them being brutal from 2. Boston has shown there weaknesses at home and Miami has won on the road. If your a Nuggets fan there's an easy answer to who you wanna face. Time for Miami to pull it off.

Boston inside D that caused that 30% shooting by Heat will give AG and even Jokic trouble. We will have to make our 3âs at a far superior rate to win a game in Boston.
Celtics are -350 to win Monday. Heat are +280.

We will be significantly outscored at the FT line, especially in Boston.

It's going to be how it's going to be. You're either the best team in the world or you're not. The time to hope for the easy path and dodging the harder teams was 2019.
f**k this dodging s**t. We didn't dodge the big bad Suns in round 2, which everybody considered awful fortune. We didn't dodge "Lakers exceptionalism" and the defense that dominated the Warriors. If you get Boston, it's only fitting. 50 years of misery. You don't get out of that pit without leaving zero doubt.
I'd prefer homecourt, of course, but the story is so much sweeter with the Celtics as the final boss.

Heat are +280. Cause Bam and Jokic are pretty much the same type of offensive players. Get a grip. There are things Iâm worried about with the Celtics. Bostonâs interior D on Jokic is not one of them.

I prefer home court, but Boston honestly has me licking my lips.
1. Size: For real, they have no size. Horford can no longer jump either.
2. Fatigue: Boston already has tired legs. Only way they have a shot at beating us is raining 3âs. Tonight, they shot 20%. And thatâs not including games in altitude.
3. Brogdon: Brogdon is out - making Bostonâs bench toothless.
To me, Miami has decent 3-point shooting with better size.
I get the idea that we want home court - but youâre being irrational if you fear Boston.
As far as the Rockies comparison to 2007 goes - this nuggets team has seen a lot more than that Rockies team did. Our âbatsâ arenât going to cool. We got this.

I'd prefer homecourt, of course, but the story is so much sweeter with the Celtics as the final boss. I get it .. and I agree to a certain point. Nuggets are the best team. It's the the championship .. things won't be easy no matter what. After all the heartbreak it would be crushing if the Celtics beat us after coming back 3-0 vs Miami tho. Like that's an All-Time what if. It's never happened before. Like I'm 95% certain the Nuggets beat Miami and if they don't it'll be an epic disappointment from multiple players. I'm confident the Nuggets beat the Celtics but if you get a few stinkers and I dunno. It's going be alot tougher. Historically games 1/7 are majorly won by the team with HCA in the NBA finals. I wanna say 75-80% type s**t. Overall even I'm sure as well. If the Nuggets beat Boston without HCA that's going to be a big time accomplishment. If the Nuggets beat Miami with HCA that's just taking care of business. I just want that ring. I don't care about the competition/narrative/how it happens. No doubt if it comes against Boston you'll get more "credit" and there's less risk of being embarrassed or a footenote in NBA history like you would be with a loss to Miami.

Bostonâs legs looked f***ing tired out there tonight. Having a grueling game 7 isnât going to help.
This is honestly shaping up excellently for us, either way.

Our head-to-head record against Boston this season and the prior two seasons is 1-5. Winless in three tries in Boston.
I canât âget a gripâ on that.
