What a fantastic night.
NO is our kyptonite. Ingram, Zion, Jose, etc. Malone has never game-planned well against any of them. Alvarado would have been back by game 3, and Zion has been saying, physically, he's ready to go.
I do think we beat NO, but I also think it becomes a grueling 6 or 7 game series. With championship aspirations, we can't afford to start the playoffs with a mean series.
Tonight was the best night of the season, outside of defeating the Grizz in Ball a few months ago. I hope you guys are rejoicing as much as I am right now.

Ring and Jimi both have great records. My gut tells me jimi should start off, but I’m good with either. Of course - if we win the banner, jimi should be banned. Celebrating that Pelicans loss big time! Ingram is tough to defend. He seems clutch overall. CJ can catch fire. Valevucians, butchered the spelling, is a great rebounder and can hit the 3. Zion? Definitely happy the Nuggets will avoid them. Pelicans were the 1 seed early on.

Fam - lighten up - it’s just silly humor Yeah, here's the thing: even though it is silly humor, I don't hear it that way (I have explained before that I'm autistic and that comes with some differences in processing and reacting to social situations) and I don't like it. I politely asked to be left out ... so what does it cost you to leave me out of it? What does it gain you to include me in it? There are plenty of people who you could include in the joke who don't mind or who would even appreciate it. Please keep me out of it. |

Yeah, the Pels are such a wildcard that even though I think we're quite a bit better than them, I'd rather face some other team. They could have a couple of big games and suddenly make it into a 7-game series, and even if we win, I'd rather win in 5 vs a much weaker team and get more rest. |

We have had some level of trouble with the pelicans, Okc and Minnesota this year.
None will be easy outs. No series goes less than 6
I think we will be favored but not by much against any of them
Edit: obviously not referring to New Orleans anymore

we played the Wolves on b2bs almost every time. I think some of the trouble we had was just the rest disadvantage. OKC we were pretty strong against. I'm happy with those being our first round matchups. Like there are no bad playoff teams in the west, but we could have had like 5-on-8 Lakers or the turn-it-on-in-the-postseason Warriors.

Jokic always owns Gobert anyway.

Usually said i asked for it by being the way i am. You could argue Lothar is asking for it by being the way he is. But now he is asking for us to ignore that and just respect his wish. I for one will respect that even tho i would have loved it if he did the same for me in the past. Maybe this could be the beginning of some changes.

Still think OKC is the far easier matchup. Not having anyone to guard Jokic is such a big deal both in the post and on the offensive glass.
