The season we had the highest expectations in franchise history ends up being the worst. Nugglife is in full force.

We lose games to lottery teams all day. Lose to teams on 2nd of back to back. 20 point leads? Means nothing. Up 6-8 points late? Give up 12-0 runs
But if we are playing a tough team who is favored or if we are down 6 half way through the 4th?
It’s over. If we are supposed to lose, we lose. We don’t have surprise wins anymore.
This is turning into the most disappointing season I’ve ever endured. The pain and frustration is unmeasurable. I know other fans may not care because “winning a title isn’t everything”
But I’m over solid 45-50 win seasons where we tried hard and ran into a juggernaut. I don’t care anymore. I want a title and I’m f***ing done settling.
And to make it worse it took 20-30 years of failures to get here. And we aren’t even close to sniffing a title. Imagine after the jokic era? Saddening.
And just to rub salt in the wound, who’s the #1 seed? And who is one of their top players? Just a few months after giving away half of their rotation for nothing? They had one of the most unremarkable “rebuilds” the last year while our was heralded as one of the best
Nugglife of course took care of all of that. And team blessed gets what they always get. Just works out for them every single time.
Last year was partially tolerable because of the injuries and we knew we could fall back on “what if Murray and mpj were back?”
We don’t have that anymore. This is our team. We have no cap space, no picks and we are losing brown in 6 months. This is our peak. This is our best shot. This is all we have
And it’s not even close to a title. The idea of winning even a single round against Memphis, Portland, clippers, suns, warriors, New Orleans, Dallas etc is laughable.
Winning 4 rounds? I can’t even fantasize about it in my wildest dreams like I used to when I was younger.

And to make it worse Portland is having their dream season. We were supposed to have the best team in franchise history (not even exaggerating) while Portland was ranked 8-11 by 99% of unbiased fans
And this is what we get? How can anyone possibly doubt the curse. It’s so f***ing real. And I don’t normally believe in any paranormal stuff. But I 100% believe this. There are just too many examples for too long to deny it

And both end up the best in the west. In a year when the west is insanely competitive.
