Jon Stewart 2028! America only elects entertainers to be president. Or at least very charismatic people. Stewart has parallels to Zelensky.

The interview is so good. This is what I wrote on NP a few minutes ago.
As I was listening, I was compelled to check her wiki to see if she was married. She is, unfortunately, but I am still in love. What a mind.

What a mind. I was subscribing to Heather’s Substack podcast until several weeks ago. My inbox was being so inundated with stuff, that I cancelled a lot of the Substacks I was subscribed to, including her’s. Maybe I should resubscribe. Her pods were quite good. You can Google for it , TNF, and subscribe. It’s free!

How long before the MORONS who voted for Trump are honest and say "I'm sorry world. I really thought Trump was telling the truth. At least the price of eggs has dropped twenty cents, so there is that, but all that other stuff kind of surprises me"

Gaetz as AG, what a f***in joke

Matt Gaetz named AG. Tulsi Gabbard named Director of National Intelligence. This is madness.
This is a total nightmare for America. Make it stop! In all seriousness, we just have to go about our lives and nothing we can do if/when America completely implodes.
The only question I have… Is it possible to impeach a president elect before he takes the oath of office? These are high crimes and misdemeanors right now. Today. Biden and Dems control Executive branch and Senate today. Can they do anything? They have two months and a week.
TNF, all who voted for Trump and wouldn’t listen are gonna have to see their profound mistake over the coming weeks, months, and likely years. Then, maybe they will change. Though it will hurt all of Americans quality of life to rebuild from the metaphorical rubble.

It's hard to believe even this insanely stupid beyond words country could be ok with these morons.

it would've been nice if Trump put Gaetz and Tulsi's in jobs where their neocon-skepticism could be utilized and not give those positions to geopolitical arsonists like little Marco and Fox news guy, but that was never going to happen. this game is rigged.

What are you talking about? Tulsi is assigned as DNI, heading up our national intelligence apparatus. As a Russian stooge and Ukraine surrender advocate, she will be instrumental in helping Trump give Putin what Vladimir wants. You think that’s right because she’s “anti-neocon”? She will also make sure Assad and Syria is spared in Israel’s ongoing attacks on its neighbors. Our hope is incompetence becomes clear early and there will be some accountability for Trump’s malfeasance.

DNI is not SOS, which is essentially the second most powerful job in the union ahead of even VP. we see how much power Anthony Blinken currently holds, which he wielded to an unimaginably destructive end. as bad as Tulsi is, and she's extremely bad on a number of issues and gotten even worse during her transition to the GOP, she's not in the same universe as little Marco, who's foaming at the mouth for war with Cuba, Venezuela, Syria, Iran, China, Russia, to name a few countries.

Marco is terrible and terribly stupid, but for anyone to trust what Tulsi Gabbard might do (or not do) as DNI is simply offbase. She is a national security risk and makes the country less safe from adversarial actors infiltrating the country, or even from a terroist plot being successfully carried out. She’s incompetent, over her skis, and likely an agent of Putin’s.

So Matt Gaetz resigns from the House, two days before a damaging Ethics Committee report was due to be voted on and released, thus removing jurisdiction of the House over Gaetz.
The riff raff that is being rewarded by Trump is just beginning. When will Boebert and MTG get job offers?
Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy: “I'll give you the truth why I'm not speaker. It's because one person, a member of Congress, wanted me to stop an ethics complaint because he slept with a 17-year-old.” That member is Matt Gaetz.

The theory I heard about the Gaetz appointment is it basically serves everyone's political games:
- Gaetz gets to resign because he's being appointed to a different position, which gets him out of the Congressional ethics investigation (doesn't get him out of any criminal investigations, but takes it out of the spotlight) -- and then when he gets shot down, he still gets the benefit of having resigned and therefore ended that particular investigation
- anyone who wants to go on record as having opposed a Trump pick gets to get sound bites of standing up and saying "no, this is a horrible pick" and then in 2026 they can run ads about how they "stood up to Trump" whether they're 98% Trump stooge or actually consistently opposed
- Trump can use it as bait to distract from other picks he doesn't want a fight over. If Congress is busy saying "we have to stop Gaetz", they're less likely to play hardball on other picks.

If Congress is busy saying "we have to stop Gaetz", they're less likely to play hardball on other picks. The final point is most important. Gaetz might serve as a “lightning rod” sort of distraction that might allow other unqualified or mendacious Trump appointees to get through, perhaps via recess appointments. Hegseth, Rubio, Waltz, and Gabbard are rogues. The funny thing is Tulsi might not agree with the agenda Rubio has. And how about Huckabee as Ambassador to Israel?! This man is looking toward an apocalyptic Middle East war to bring back the second coming and send him and others up to Heaven in a Rapture. Or something like that. I don’t quite understand such fairy tales since I’m a secular Jew, agnostic and not religious at all.

I’ll never forget two years ago when RFK Jr spouted the crank conspiracy theory that the Covid virus was “genetically engineered” to have low mortality and spare those with Chinese and Jewish DNA. In other words, he promoted a bigoted unscientific whacko theory that Covid was purposely designed to kill white people (except for Jews) and other races (except for Chinese).
Forget RFK Jr being a typical anti-vaxx crackpot. The guy is a brain damaged nutcase who buys into racist conspiracies. Now, he has been named to head the Department of Health and Human Servies.
Damn you, all of you Trumpists. I’m Jewish, my wife is Chinese immigrant (naturalized U.S. citizen). She and her 89 year old mom caught Covid in Shanghai when she was caring for her in early 2023, right after the end of their Zero Covid policy. A month later, my wife watched her mom die in the hospital with her lungs full of fluid. The virus did not spare anyone in China at the time, when millions of mainly unvaccinated seniors died. Yes, her mom wasn’t vaccinated. They thought Zero Covid policy would protect them.

RFK think vaccines cause autism and that there's no link between HIV and AIDS. Thousands of kids in American Samoa are dead because their parents fell for his antivax s**t. RFK was a harmful idiot long before COVID.

One person on here will be happy with RFK I met RFK once, and even got his autograph. I was thrilled! I’m talking about his dad, in 1967. This 13-year old kid idolized the original RFK. The current one soils the family name.
