He was a helluva' player and a GM who made Nuggets fans crazy. He and Gail Goodrich really were the original Splash Brothers. They also had lots of space to operate with Wilt on that team. I am one of the few people who saw live on TV both the Lakers 33 game winning streak and UCLA’s 88 game winning streak come to an end. |

Got to meet Jerry West - super cool guy, and really appreciate to the fans.
Most intelligent thing I heard him say - he talked about how he would have loved to play with another scorer who could bring 25 or 30ppg. He said he didn't care about the fame - he just welcomed anyone who could take the load off of his back.
