Y'all have to admit, we are really getting some calls at really important moments
Melo could've easily been called for two offensive fouls early in the quarter which would've been a big swing, instead one is a defensive foul and the other is where Carlisle gets T'd
That shot by Wright where Birdman hit him in midair was exactly the same as Melo's shot where Hollins got whistled, but no call on Birdman
I mean, we really are playing well int he 4th, but I feel a little dirty

Good win. There were more than a few parts where I thought they were playing a bit sketchy. But they put away the Mavs in the 4th

Are the people at TNT 12 year old girls like dean? What is with the need to spell Nenê's name, NeNe?

I agree anything less than a trip to the western finals is a dissapointment with the way the last couple months have gone. I love this team. I'm growing out a playoff beard that my wife hates and even with her avoiding me I'm not getting rid of it. I'm riding this puppy out and concentrating on very little else but the nuggets. As soon as a game ends Im counting down to the next. I have no idea what I will do after tonight waiting until saturday. These playoffs may end in me getting fired and divorced but i've never been a happier fan. im in the same boat. my beard is f***ing ridiculous right now. ive obviously never had a playoff beard last so long. usually nuggets playoff beards go pretty fast. but damn, my girl is ok with it but my boss might make me shave any minute now. might have to quit...

Even the Mavs fans are soft. The Hornets fans lasted longer during that series.

This is a devastating loss for the Mavs. What more could you ask for in this game? Let's look at all the things in the Mavs favor:
1) Melo and Billups combined to shoot 13-33. 2) The Nuggets shot 28.6% from beyond the arc. 3) Dirk went off, scoring 35 and getting to the FT line 13 times. 4) The FT disparity was 10 and the points from FT was 8, about as good as it's ever going to get in Denver for them. 5) They got 52 points from their bench. 52 points. They won't get a better game from their bench this series. 6) Birdman had zero blocks. 7) The Denver defense was asleep for about 1/2 the game. (2nd and 3rd quarters) 8) The junk zone defense caused the Nuggets some problems in the first half and resulted in a Nuggets scoring draught. 9) The Mavs won the second quarter, their worst quarter by far this year. 10) They became the first team in about a month to really put a scare into the Nuggets in the third quarter. The Nuggets actually faced adversity at home for the first time in a long time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, so all of that happens and you are down by 15 points with four minutes left? All of that happens and Denver still finishes the game with the team victory cigars on the floor for the final two minutes? All of that and you give up 117 points?!?!?!?! 117. Denver played average for most of the night and lit you up for 117. What's more, the 105 wouldn't have been enough to beat Denver in any playoff game this year outside of game 3 at NO.
Can Dallas win 4 times in 5 games? Anything is possible, but this Nuggets team would have to implode for that to happen. I think we are moving on to the conference finals.

Other than you falling off the wagon Troy with the AI you hit the nail on the head completely. If you cant pull out a win after that game you done. Maybe not a sweep but you dont play with that many things in your favor and lose and go on to win a series, its not getting much better than that. Thats why after our game 3 hornets loss i wasnt worried one bit. We played like crap, they played there best game and only won by two.
