Rough half for Pickett. Just missed two shots in lane after getting his own rebound, passed it out, got it back, and after putting it on floor for another attempt from the paint, had ball stripped. Turnover.
He has scored once or twice this half and has 16 points. Middle of 4th quarter now.
Update: He has 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists now.

I hope they send down Trey and PJ soon and just leave them.
Might be good for Tyson to play a game too and watch the ball go through the net some.

btw Pickett was on the injury report as probable for this game, not sure why
Jones wasn't on the injury report so he must've gotten hurt on that foul or that blocked shot.

I only described 19 individual plays. So yeah. Pretty much any time Jones or Pickett did something on screen I mentioned it. Until I got impossibly bored and quit at halftime. They should definitely just send down Trey, Tyson, and PJ and let them all play. Hopefully Jones isn't hurt for too much longer. But it seems clear none of these dudes are ready to help the Nugs quite yet. So we might as well get them some games. |

The only good fight was when the chicks battled, and then there was the awful decision. Damn, they were CLOCKING each other. You watch this fight and remember back to many famous fights back when boxing was popular and think, no WONDER people's brains were scrambled.

Because the local media is useless, there is no update on Spencer's injury I can find nor any update as to why Pickett was on the injury report before the last game. So we'll just have to wait and see who plays next game I guess.

Honestly we really just lucked out playing against two awful teams which had their whole NBA contingents up with the parent clubs, then played them both twice in a row.
But screw it, you can't apologize for your schedule. So congrats, Pick.

What’s this FT rule in G League? One for 2 points?! I think it's only for their weird "Showcase Cup" tournament and it goes back to regular rules in the regular season, but it's also maybe dependent on game clock? I think you have to shoot them both inside the last 5 minutes of the half or something. I dunno, they've changed the FT rules all three years I've been following this league. Anyway, this Bediako kid had a nice first quarter. 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 blocks in 7 minutes on 3/4 FG. |
