As long as he gets better over time I'll deal with the growing pains. But not with 5 minutes left in the 4Q. That's absurd. MPJ doesn't need rests. He doesn't get tired. I don't think it's growing pains, I just think he has a slow processor and also slow feet. This is exactly the defense I expected out of him coming into the year, except he's still playing much harder. He will improve the processing aspect with reps though. Slow feet won't improve but if his processing improves that will help hide that flaw too. |
