Did you not watch first bench stint? Was KCP our 6th man of the year ball handler guard that was making the difference with the bench? KCP is a good player, but Braun is a more complete overall player with higher upside. You forgot KCP blown layups and not being able to dribble/drive or do anything with the ball other than shoot? |

I think he's saying that KCP would be good for our bench but IMO it wouldn't matter. The biggest issue with the bench is that they don't have a big that can screen Russ open to get into the paint. That and they had no answer for the zone because they don't have a big that can playmake from the foul line. |

Uh, you ever heard of Russ? Even in his prime Russ was not able to be effective in half court offense unless he had a lob threat (Steven Adams) who also was setting best screens in the NBA in that period. Russ with Zeke or Saric at this age is not what you think he is in half court offense that HEAT forced us to play with that full court pressure into a zone. Russ can still dribble penetrate on the break or in half court. I don’t think you’ve seen him enough. |

It's also the wrong game to complain. First time they've seen a zone all year and it's Strawther, Hunter and Zeke who probably have never seen a zone at the NBA level tbh lol |

More than one thing can be true at once. Why do so many people on this site have a problem with that concept? Booth is to blame for giving Malone bad options. Malone is still not making the best use of the options he does have, by a long shot. It's not either/or. |

We have exactly zero bigs on the bench that can enable/empower Russ to make the difference with the 2nd unit. And that is 100% Booth and 0% Malone.

One observation. Murray has been an awful playmaker this year. Good half with 15 points, but just 2 assists and 3 turnovers. Looking more and more like an off guard.

Booth is to blame for giving Malone bad options. Malone is still not making the best use of the options he does have, by a long shot. It's not either/or. I blame Malone every time i see 3 point guard lineups, 2+ non shooters on the floor at the same time and many many other flaws he has. Not having a backup big is a massive issue. None of our backup bigs is able to be lob threat out of good screen or pick and pop or anything. |
