I swear the Celtics just signed Lonnie Walker and released him? They had him on a camp contract but they didn't have a full time roster spot available for him. Just like us, they'll have to waive or trade somebody. Warriors have an open roster spot and they did bring Holiday in for a workout. Could be they intend to sign him at some point, or they could swoop in whenever and get Walker. |

He just signed with a Euro team, but I read he has an out in his contract if an NBA team wants to sign him. Perhaps he has a minimum games played clause for his new team for the out clause to be triggered. I don’t know how these types of European contracts work. |

No limits in EL contracts practically, apart from sometimes when you can register certain players. If they agreed that he can walk out for an NBA offer, it is valid. Usually if such a clause exists it has an expiration date - they put a date until which or after which a player can go back to NBA w/o penalties... not unusual to be aligned with NBA deadlines. Regarding his contracts all I saw were speculations (also not uncommon in EL, many teams don't have to and choose not to make all the contract details public). |
