Jamal Murray - out (concussion) DaRon Holmes - out (achilles) Vlatko Cancar - doubtful (right ankle sprain) Aaron Gordon - probable (right knee bruise, calf inflammation) Jalen Pickett - out (G-League) PJ Hall - out (G-League) Spencer Jones - out (G-League)
Lauri Markkanen - out (low back spasms) Jordan Clarkson - out (left plantar fasciitis) Isaiah Collier - out (right hamstring strain) Taylor Hendricks - out (right fibula fracture) Micah Potter - out (G-League) Jason Preston - out (G-League)
Jazz are winless and extremely shorthanded.
Didn't expect we'd see Murray given yesterday. Hope he recovers quickly.
Not thrilled to see a second Gordon injury appear on the report.
Vlatko doubtful, but I guess him not being ruled out immediately is a bit of progress. Since they're not using him anyway they may as well let him rest until he's 100%.

Jokic through 5 games: 30.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 10.0 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.2 blocks, 3.0 turnovers, 2.2 fouls, .561 FG, .565 3PT, .784 FT
And we're 2-3.

Down at least 15 in every game so far.
I’ve never been so embarrassed as a nuggets fan
Not even when we won 17 games. This season is so painful. A loss tonight would be a new all time low

The Nuggets definitely aren't in mid season form yet, but rock sure is.

Meanwhile, the Avs are so injured I wouldn't be surprised if they started suiting up Nuggets and Mammoth players.
DeAndre already has his own Avs jersey, send him out there

Utah +10.5
No way our bench can allow us to beat anyone by double digits

A loss tonight would be a new all time low It’s never as bad as you say, but it’s not good at the moment. The Nuggets haven’t had a lead at the end of regulation yet this year. Tonight could be the first time, even with Murray out. Westbrook the starter and a committee of backup PGs (Straw, CB, even Joker as PC). We have no excuses and need this one pretty badly to squelch the bad vibes.

You gotta just run with Strawther and Alexander and hope they figure it out I guess.
The roster construction already coming to bite them, DJ Vlatko and Nnaji are most seasoned vets in deep bench but no minutes for any of them
I'll take Jamal getting a non leg injury as a positive. I think he needs to rest a ton and this will force him to ease into the season.

On a b2b I think Zeke deserves the run tonight. Or even Deandre.
Give me one of those 2 with MPJ Watson Strawther bench

If Jamal rests thru another season, that means only one thing: more pressure on Jokic and at the end, it will not matter if Jamal is rested or not

Jay f***ing Huff 5/7 from 3 so far tonight Pretty rough seeing that lol. Denver simply needed to give nnaji away last year They'd have had full mle I'm pretty sure too if Nnaji wasn't on payroll when KCP walked too I think. Could've got a legit guard. Would've been west favorites.

Key to a victory is to play the joker 40+ minutes.

People keep posting about Huff, but does anyone actually think we would of used him as a spacer the way MEM does. We have one way we use our backup 5's. Malone apparently thinks all backup 5's need to be used like Plumlee was.

Sit him til Christmas. Let alexander and Strawther chuck for a month, if they don't get going trade for a guard

Malone apparently thinks all backup 5's need to be used like Plumlee was. Even in a Plumlee role Huff is still probably better than Zeke or DJ. He has decent handles, isn't 100 years old, blocks shots, can finish at the rim. He doesn't rebound like Plumlee, but neither does Zeke.

Malone apparently thinks all backup 5's need to be used like Plumlee was. Well Denver just needs talent. And they clearly have a history of pushing a cheap bench talent. Vando, ihart, Beasley, hyland, huff, Everyone pushes away talent it's all part of it but Denver shouldn't be lacking so much. Committing 14 mil to Nnaji and Saric is just absolutely insane when you can find cheap bigs and Denver badly needed a guard to replace Brown or KCP. And having Hartenstein and Huff right in front of you is proof of that

Just having nothing in pipeline at guard and big is pretty rough. Hyland Strawther Watson Holmes Huff forever
