It’s that time of year again! Everyone weigh in here with your bold predictions about the following:
Nuggets W/L record Nuggets seed Playoff record Leading scorer and PPG Leading rebounder and RPG Leader in assists and APG Biggest pleasant surprise Biggest disappointment NBA Champion NBA MVP Anything else you wish to add
As for my predictions:
Nuggets W/L record - 49-33 Nuggets seed - 5 Playoff record - We lose in first round in 7 games. Leading scorer and PPG - Jokic, 27.0 ppg Leading rebounder and RPG - Jokic 11.4 rpg Leader in assists and APG - Jokic, 8.3 asp Biggest pleasant surprise - Nnaji becomes a reliable backup power forward by midseason, gets in rotation and averages 8 ppg in 18 mpg. Biggest disappointment - Peyton Watson struggles to shoot and stay healthy. Goes in and out of rotation all year. Shoots 39/27/70. Cancar and sometimes Zeke play ahead of him! NBA Champion - Dallas NBA MVP - Doncic Anything else you wish to add - We buy out Pickett in first half of season after a Russ or Murray injury creates need for vet 3rd PG. We sign Dennis Smith Jr or Fultz.

W/L Record: Nuggets 53 - 29 Seed: 2 Seed Leading Scorer: Jokic 25 PPG Leading Rebounder: Jokic 11 RPG Leading Assists: Jokic 8 APG Pleasant Suprise: Strawther avg 9 ppg Biggest Disappointment: Murray doesn't make All-NBA or All-Star Game NBA Champion: Denver Nuggets 7 games over BOS NBA MVP: Luka Doncic IMO, Murray not making ASG cannot be a disappointment since nobody really expects him to make it. Exceeding or falling short of expectations is what results in pleasant surprises or disappointments.

Nuggets W/L record: 58-24 Nuggets seed: 1 seed Playoff record: 16 wins, 8 losses. 2025 NBA Champions = Denver Nuggets Leading scorer and PPG: Jokic 28 Leading rebounder and RPG: Jokic 12 Leader in assists and APG: Jokic 10 Biggest pleasant surprise: Braun and Watson take huge steps this year Biggest disappointment: Russell Westbrook NBA Champion: Denver Nuggets in 6 over the Celtics NBA MVP: Tatum Anything else you wish to add: Jamal Murray, MPJ, Jokic and AG (resigned to a long-term extension) all stay healthy through the regular season and playoffs. We find trade partners to dump Jalen Pickett and Hunter Tyson and use those 2 roster spots to sign cheap vets on a minimum contract.

Nuggets W/L record - 53-29 Nuggets seed - 3 seed, via tiebreaker over 4 Playoff record - 11-8. Cruise through the first 2 rounds, lose the WCF in 7. Leading scorer and PPG - Jokic 26.2 Leading rebounder and RPG - Jokic 11.2 Leader in assists and APG - Jokic 8.8 Biggest pleasant surprise - Zeke is actually playable Biggest disappointment - PWat doesn't really make strides, struggles some with injury NBA Champion - ugh, the damn Celtics, ugh NBA MVP - Luka, on his 2-seed Mavs Anything else you wish to add - after Zeke looks actually playable, we package him for one of the players we're rumored to have interest in (like Micic) -- who turns out to be a disappointment

Interesting you guys are predicting Luka as the MVP. I think the voters will give it to Tatum -- considering how he was disrespected on the US Olympic team, snubbed for finals mvp and the overall dominance of the Celtics for the last 2 years

W/L Record: I don't care Seed: 3 seed Leading Scorer: Jokic, whatever Leading Rebounder: Jokic, whatever Leading Assists: Jokic, whatever Pleasant Suprise: Strawther's development, as well as Braun and Watson Biggest Disappointment: Malone will run Russ and Murray into the ground, and Straw will be playing PG and getting eaten up doing it (late into the season) NBA Champion: Nuggets - over New York NBA MVP: Ant
We're going to take the banner. Saric and Russ will prove to be excellent backups.
As I had already said - Straw will play a pivotal role. Kids provides great D and has a sweet floater.
It's going to be a great year.

Nuggets W/L record: 52-30 Nuggets seed: 4th. A healthy 4th better than a busted 2nd seed Playoff record: 16-10 Leading scorer and PPG: Jokic 25.2 Leading rebounder and RPG: Jokic 12.3 Leader in assists and APG: Jokic 9.1 Biggest pleasant surprise: Strawther Biggest disappointment: Booth for not adding a vet guard NBA Champion: Nuggets. 4-3 over Boston. MVP: Luka. Dallas will be a 2-3 seed and it's his time. Plus the enormous usage (and outrageous talent) means the huge stats are inevitable.
