After the championship high, last year's letdown, and current whiny b***h freshly-signed-to-a-max-and-now-injured Jamal, I have to admit I'm less interested in the Nuggets this year than I can ever remember. They will have to win me back in order to inspire me to stay up past my retirement bedtime. I am bored more important things in life .wake me up when playoffs start The best thing to ever happen for any Nuggets fan was the Championship. I've said it before but I am content now. I still want more and I still get very upset after losses but I never thought I'd see a Nuggets Championship, and I did. Not only that, they swept the Lakers on the road to it, which made it that much sweeter. Now my main frustration comes from the fact that Jokic is an all time great and should get more than 1 ring. It'll really piss me off if he finishes his career with just 1 (which is highly likely IMO) Just a really bad job by the organization post Championship. Although I do think outside of the Murray contract this offseason was a pretty solid one. Westbrook/Saric are major upgrades and Holmes was a good pick. The problem is the Murray contract can easily sink this team.

The problem is the Murray contract can easily sink this team. Over the last two season just had some wierd contract decsiins. Murray, Nnaji, Reggie Jackson, and then the drafting of Pickett have cause some issues with organization and other decisions we had ti make. But CB,Strawther,PWat, Westbrook, and Saric have been pretty solid decisions so it probably balances out. We should have been make our run probsbly before Murray got injured but now we're into the pricy portion of their contracts. So gets that much harder!

I worry about the mental and physical health of those who actually put stock into preseason and get nervous/anxious over it. I watched maybe 5 or 10 minutes total Is this really how you cope? I see not one single person caring about us being 0-3 in preseason. It doesnt matter. What could offer concern is Murray playing like ass and tweaking his knee

Just a quick reminder that this could EASILY be our roster right now if we'd just used those picks to dump Tyson and Pickett and let Reggie's deal expire at the end of the year, then retained Holiday and kept CG over Jones
PG: Murray, Westbrook, Jackson, [Gillespie], [Alexander] SG: Braun, Strawther, Holiday SF: Porter, Watson, Cancar PF: Gordon, Nnaji, Holmes, [Hall] C: Jokic, Saric, Jordan
Spending draft picks to dump a playable emergency PG on an expiring deal while keeping the two worst dudes on the roster. Absolutely baffling.

Calvin wants Pickett to get a real shot at NBA minutes

Calvin wants Pickett to get a real shot at NBA minutes I firmly believe Calvin wanted Vlatko gone too for Tyson but Jokic wouldn't hear it. Holiday is gone so Strawther doesn't have to compete for minutes (I believe Strawther would've beaten him out anyway). Reggie and CG are gone for Pickett and, for some reason, Spencer Jones. If Trey gets into an NBA game and plays well, I'm worried Booth will ship him out too.

Think the starters rest tonight since we play OKC first game of season?

Think the starters rest tonight since we play OKC first game of season? No, Malone ripped their conditioning after the last game. Jokic may rest but the rest of them are playing if healthy.

Hopefully Hunter Tyson benched tonight. Rather see vlatko or Alexander get that chance.

No Muray and no Westbrook could get ugly pretty quickly. Gotta start Strawther and Braun together, Trey is probably your SG2, so Pickett may have to handle the rock tonight. Unless they try to run Vlatko or Tyson at the 2, I guess. Yikes.

Nuggets are listing Trey Alexander as the starting PG tonight and DeAndre Jordan as the starting center, but DJ is also marked as a game time decision.

Is this game seriously not on TV here? Altitude doesn't show it on my program guide.

They changed their minds.
Strawther, Braun, Porter, Gordon, and Zeke are the starting 5.

O-4 here we come. People be freaking out over preseason record. But I am concerned about a slow start to season, given the lack of taking preseason seriously, as well as missed time by Watson, Murray, etc. 5-5 after 10 games sounds about right.

I'm guessing the reason Saric isn't starting is because they want him to get used to his bench role.

If he's getting rotation minutes at center it means Saric or Jokic is hurt. We aren't running 3 centers every night.
