Zeke did his customary disappearing act after a nice game the other night Main difference was Zeke played tonight in second half after sitting for a half, sharing floor with mainly bench guys. Two nights ago, he was in starting lineup as a 4. Everyone looks better alongside Jokic, including Zeke. Also, tonight nobody passed the ball to Zeke in a scoring position. He wasn’t even behind the arc to receive a pass. That was my main point. When he is the lone big,he does a lot of screening and rolling. Wjen he's the 4 he can sit on perimeter and space. He's an avg. At best screener and finisher whereas when he's a floor spacing 4 it fits his skillet better.

Semi warm take: Russ will be our best rebounder off the bench.

Semi warm take: Russ will be our best rebounder off the bench. Not even semi-warm. Russ may be the greatest rebounding guard of all time. I am not old enough to recall watching the Big O in his prime during his 1961-1965 seasons, but I think only he could have been possibly a better rebounder than Russ. Fat Lever was damn good too, btw, but Westbrook is an all timer..

Semi warm take: Russ will be our best rebounder off the bench. I'd put money on Saric leading bench in rebounding. He was outrebounded by Russ 3 to 4 in BOS game, but outrebounded Russ 6 to 0 in PHX game and outrebounded him 5 to 2 last night.

Malone unfortunately refuses to even admit there's a difference between the 4 and the 5. When asked directly about trying to find minutes for Zeke at the 4, he acted confused and said simply that there are bigs and smalls and Zeke is a big. Then he should never play on 1 big units. He played a big chunk of his minutes with both Saric and Vlatko. He's just not a good basketball player.

Blackburn pretending that it's a dead heat between Zeke, Tyson, and Cancar for the 10th man spot.
Durando has Zeke, Jordan, Tyson, then Cancar as 10-13.
I'm convinced that none of the media guys in this town actually watch basketball.
The DNVR clowns have been on the Tyson and Pickett bandwagon since day one, too.

DNVR is off the Pickett bandwagon, and the best thing they say about Tyson is he’s a good practice shooter. Cancar is clearly #10 if he’s all the way back to full health.

Really wondering why Spencer Jones.
His summer league stats with Portland: 1 GP, 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 0 steals, 1 block, 1 foul, 0 turnovers, 0/1 FG, 0/1 3PT, 0/0 FT in 7.5 minutes
His preseason stats: 2 GP, 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0 fouls, 0 turnovers, 0/2 FG, 0/2 3PT, 0/0 FT in 14.2 minutes
146 games at Stanford: 11.03 points, 4.06 rebounds, 1.22 assists, 1.03 steals, 0.77 blocks, 2.45 fouls, 1.18 turnovers, .439 FG, .397 3PT, .705 FT
Kid must be a demon in practice or something, I have no idea. Can't even get into summer league or preseason games but he has apparently made an NBA roster.
He's a 5 year college player which we know Booth loves but he doesn't check any of the other stereotypical Booth boxes. No national team experience, no overseas pro experience, no championships to his credit beyond high school.

Some dingus on RealGM trying to tell me Tyson and Pickett could still develop.
Tyson is older than Zeke and Pickett is even older, only 8 months younger than Porter. They both played 5 college seasons and after a whole NBA and G-League season last year they came into both Summer League and preseason this year and both looked drastically worse than they did as rookies.

Especially considering he had gillespie on a 2 way and went after a worse traditional PG with a 3 year gurantee Should've gave picketts roster spot to an NBA player last year and then gave gillespie a 15 man spot this summer.
