I wonder if Vlatko is on a minutes restriction for these games. He looks really good to me every time he's out there but he seems like an afterthought so far.
Bad turnover for him as I typed this praise.

Only players who opened eyes tonight were Strawther and Nnaji. MPJ was fine in first half. Gordon too. But we expect that.
This team needs to make moves.

Someone please explain to me why Spencer Jones is on this roster if not to play in this exact situation right now. I truly, truly don't understand letting Gillespie walk for him.
Richardson and Bediako are in over him right now.

Stock up: Strawther Zeke Stock down: Saric Tyson Pickett Alexander Jones Wow, I never thought I’d see you writing “Stock up” and Zeke in the same section. Must mean real progress!

He is not on the injury report. Then a stomach illness at game time. Something must be happening with him to keep him out. Was he even suited up?

I suspect they brought back Andrew Funk on the exhibit 10 deal to audition for Jones' roster spot. Of course, Funk did absolutely nothing tonight and having watched him for a huge chunk of games in Grand Rapids last year I don't think he's the answer either.

When your stock is already at the bottom it's pretty easy to go up. I don't believe in Zeke but it doesn't mean I want him to fail, and I can acknowledge that he mostly had a good game tonight (better in the second half).

He still has the loose hands, as we saw, but every other part of his game looked solid, on O and D. Maybe we showcased him for trade. Micic was a DNP tonight for Charlotte.

So many random dudes who can help teams. We go out and sign unplayable guys. 25% of our roster is useless. Even during the Shaw years it wasn’t this bad

I want all the people who said we didn't need a 3rd point guard to take a look at this game.
No Jamal and Russ and we end up with 22 turnovers and 42%/25% FG/3PT splits.
Collin Gillespie is way better than Trey Alexander today. In a year Trey may have blown way past him, but today Gillespie is better. And we got rid of him for a guy that can't even get garbage time minutes in a preseason game (Jones).
There is no reason at all that we should have Jones and Pickett instead of Reggie and Gillespie. None.
Same for Tyson/Holiday.

Alexander is raw but he looks like solid 3rd PG, get him on 15 man

Strawther and Zeke looked good. All the 2nd rounders and deep bench guys looked yikes. Not having a PG doesn't do us any favors though.
