Bronny James shooting splits by competition NCAA: .366 FG, .267 3PT Summer League: .327 FG, .130 3PT Preseason: .125 FG, .000 3PT
I'm sure things will be much easier for him in the NBA regular season, right?

Braxton Key has signed a camp deal with the Clippers and is competing for their last two-way spot. Best of luck to him.

I kind of feel bad for Bronny. LeBron has pretty much orchestrated his fate as the poster child for nepotism for all eternity and that sucks because he seems like a good kid.
25 games in college: 36.6% field goals, 26.7% three pointers, 67.6% free throws 6 games in Summer League: 32.7% field goals, 13.0% three pointers, 62.5% free throws 6 games in Preseason: 29.7% field goals, 8.3% three pointers, 50.0% free throws
Kid just can't shoot, and that's a very bad sign for a 6'2" guard with poor handles.

we'll see how much props Timmy gets after Minny's spacing gets clogged and Randle and Gogurt take turns getting wrecked by Jokic.

Why cant you just handle TC getting props? Does it make your blood boil.
No matter what happens TC got and should get props for how he handled that situation

TC has done a good job at every stop in his career. I can’t for the life of me understand the bitterness and hate he gets from the likes of JB. Good for him that Minny is a contender, and good for him that he built most of the Nuggets championship team. JB, try to smell the roses a bit more in your life.

Why cant you just handle TC getting props? Does it make your blood boil. No matter what happens TC got and should get props for how he handled that situation it's absolutely hilarious you cried literally the entire off season because Calvin didn't get locked into the 2nd apron for Kentavious Wilson-Chandler but want to give Tim "props" for the way he handled dumping his second best player for tax purposes, which is a direct result of his disaster class Rupert Gogurt trade. KAT played the best defense on MVP Jokic I've ever seen and averaged 20/10/3 on the other end. saved the Wolves during game 7 when Ant s**t the bed and attempted to shoot them out of the game, locking up Jokic during the infamous second-half meltdown and giving the Nuggets 23/12 on 57% FG. he essentially did Gobert's job while being a top option offensively. Randle makes the Wolves far easier to defend while giving the Wolves zero options to defend Jokic. Tim did us the biggest favor

I'm very happy he neutralized our biggest rival for us through a series of bad decisions.

Lonnie Walker Justin Holiday Markelle Fultz Dennis Smith Jr. Troy Brown Jr.
All these guys are still available.
But no, we're going with Pickett and Tyson.

Clearly, Booth values development over veteran depth. Not development of Pickett and Tyson, though. They are intentionally kept to block vets at this point. Booth wants to develop Strawther, Watson, and Braun, and doesn’t trust Malone to do that if he has vets like Walker and Holiday at his disposal. That’s how I see it.

I am inclined to agree that is Booth's motivation. But I don't think Malone would start Holiday or Walker over Braun and I don't think he'd give either of them Strawther's minutes. If Booth believes in his picks he needs to believe they can beat out veteran minimum guys. Show confidence in the kids but plan for emergencies too. Because the reality is we have 4 usable guards and 3 of them got hurt last season. That's scary, even if Russ is historically quite durable and Strawther is very young. You could argue that they can just make a roster move if/when an injury occurs, but the longer you wait the lower the selection of guys will be and the less time those new players will have to develop chemistry with the team. Holiday knows this team already, it's ludicrous that he's not still here. He's the ideal 10-13 guy. He gave us minutes at 4 positions last year, he can defend several positions, he can shoot 3s, he has a ring and veteran presence. You could sit him for 25 games in a row and he'd be ready and able to start the next 5 because he's a true professional. He has had the Warriors and Pacers sniffing around this summer; I believe he could have already signed with a non-contender but he's waiting for a team with a chance to win to call. Don't be late to the party and miss out on him.

They committed 3 years to pickett and tyson, and I'm starting to think it was owner mandated to save money by having cheap rookie deals over vet mins. Their hands are tied now they can't eat the 3rd year of those deals with their cap issues.

There is cash savings having rookie deals over vet mins when over apron. Considering they hurried out and committed to 3 rookies in 23 draft it's a fair guess it was owner mandated with new cba. It's not really logical any other way
