The more traditional big traits for Holmes haven't been as encouraging, but summer league is a weird thing for bigs given how rough the PG play can be.
Most of these games turn into ISO fests given these teams are thrown together.

Feels like Strawther is having 90% usage rate for 23 points. On the other hand Jordan Miller 33 points on 10/15 shooting and 10% usage rate.

All that matters is you see things you want to see from the guys who matter. Summer League will be littered with guys who go off and you never hear their name again.

Holmes walked off on his own accord. The is good news. Hopefully nothing too serious.
One plus side to Holmes' game tonight was his ability to read the passing lane. He had 3 or 4 tips which was surprising.

If given the opportunity and real NBA minutes i am quite sure this Jordan Miller kid can make at least a solid role player. Been watching summer league for a long time, he looks really complete and poised for a late second round pick. |
