Bro they dont pull him based on preformance when the team is blowing out Indiana. I know Im an reactionary fan. I also know the coaches aint. He played 8 minutes and recorded 0 stats and then sat the rest of the game in his jersey and shorts waiting to go back in. Didn't even put on the breakaway sweats like everyone else. They put an injured PJ Hall back into the game late.

I just read that if we waive pickett before the end of August, it would only be about 800K cap hit for the next five seasons. If true we should really consider that

I couldn't quite make out who the assistant coach was, but towards the end of the 2nd quarter Pickett was deep in conversation behind the bench and close to the tunnel. Not sure what to make of it, but assume he was a little disgruntled getting pulled.

I'm finding myself rooting for Hall. He's got the highest plus/minus on the team in the 3 games he played at +19 and he seems to just have a positive effect on the game when he's in there. Some dudes are just like that. There's nothing that jumps out in his stats or anything, but you just feel a little better when he's in the game.
Maybe he'll defy the odds and earn some minutes this year.

Tyson got his one good game out of himself already and is like, "i'm just going to keep shooting the ball regardless"

1st half lines
Strawther - DNP Jones - DNP Pickett - DNP (coach's decision) - yikes Alexander: 8/4/0/1/0, 3 TO, 0 PF, 3/3 FG, 2/2 3PT, 0/0 FT, +8 Hall: 9/1/1/0/2, 0 TO, 1 PF, 4/8 FG, 1/2 3PT, 0/0 FT, +0 Tyson: 3/3/3/0/0, 0 TO, 1 PF, 1/8 FG, 1/6 3PT, 0/0 FT, +0
Good half for Alexander.
Not enough rebounds from Hall.
Another big yikes from Tyson.

Tyson got his one good game out of himself already and is like, "i'm just going to keep shooting the ball regardless" He didn't even have one good game. The bar is ridiculously low if shooting 44% in a Summer League game while being the worst defensive player on the floor and contributing no rebounding or passing is good.
