I’m still critical of saric. Would have preferred Drummond.
That said -
We literally had no big to come off the bench in game 7 against minny. Now we have Holmes and Saric - major upgrade - we can throw a lot more size at minny now.
While I’m critical of saric I do agree he’s the best backup jokic has ever had - and that will be enormous for regular season rest.

Murray/Pickett/(Alexander)
Braun/Strawther
Porter/Watson/Tyson
Gordon/Holmes/Nnaji/(Hall)
Jokic/Saric/Jordan
Now get a PG and a SG, and hopefully dump Zeke or Tyson to sign Vlatko.

If the Nuggets can find a way to get Westbrook they will field an NBA caliber bench maybe for the first time in the Jokic era. Make it happen.

If the Nuggets can find a way to get Westbrook they will field an NBA caliber bench maybe for the first time in the Jokic era. Make it happen. There is still a gaping hole at SG. Especially since all of our SFs are more of the swing forward variety than the 2/3 variety. Literally all we have is Braun and Strawther right now. We absolutely have to find another guy, even if it's just bringing Holiday back. Hopefully it's an upgrade, but you gotta find somebody. The 3rd two way also needs to be a 2/3. |

I'm honestly expecting the Clippers to just buy out Russ at this point. Denver is the only team interested supposedly and we have nothing they'd want. What's the point of them taking our scrubs?

There's a universe where Calvin is debating not resigning Vlatko and bringing Holliday back. If we want Vlatko AND Holliday AND RW, then someone has to go (Nnaji, etc). |
